Release day Review & Giveaway. Lesson's Learned by Sandrine Gasq-Dion**

** Warning ** The Assassin/Shifter series is a M/M, paranormal and contemporary romance series, not recommended for anyone under the age of 18. Also not recommended for narrow minded people that can't appreciate the beauty of strong, sexy gay men! ** Just sayin..

Years ago, sensitive Jude Brooks got tired of watching junior high life
through the vents in his locker. Unfortunately, handsome Hayden
Cox’s favorite pastime was putting him in there.  When Jude’s
werewolf friends torment Hayden for being human, he takes it out on
distractingly beautiful Jude. A lot.
Tired of having his son picked on, pack member Henry Cox moves
his family away. “Cox the cock” is gone – so why does Jude feel
disappointment mixed with his exhilaration? In another city, Hayden
is finally being accepted – so why is he constantly haunted by the
memory of mesmerizing violet eyes?
Fast-forward to a meeting as adults, and the air is so thick with
tension and anger that it can be grabbed and shaped into adorable
animals. Jude’s rage toward his nemesis has boiled over and nothing
Hayden can do or say will make it go away. Hayden’s efforts to make
peace convince everyone but Jude he’s a changed man. In fact, he’s
a werewolf now and he wants nothing more than for Jude to forgive
him. Jude wants nothing more than to ignore Cox the cock and be taken
seriously as a protector of the pack.
If longing looks and lustful thoughts are anything to go by, this situation
is far from resolved. Is Jude’s best friend really dating Hayden? And why
does he care? Can he ever completely trust the person who spent years
treating him like an algebra book? Will a survival test in Siberia and a
stunning revelation bring them together or tear them farther apart?
Maybe they’ll both be taught a lesson about love.

Jude Brooks and Hayden Cox share a past that threatens a possible future. When they were teenagers, their father's were members of the same pack. Young and inexperienced, Hayden was confused by his feelings for Jude so he bullied the young wolf in hopes it would cover up the growing attraction he had for Jude. Hayden as well is picked on by the other wolves within their pack for being human, so when Noah and Ross want to tell Jude's father, Jonas the pack alpha, about the abuse Jude is suffering from Hayden, Jude won't allow it.

Knowing what his son is enduring and why, Henry Cox severs ties with the pack and moves his family away. Jonas begs him not to remove himself or his family from the protection of the pack, and years later Henry's decision has devastating consequences. As a parting gift he bites Hayden and turns him and Jonas is there to pick up the pieces. Hayden is sent of to boarding school with Noah and Ross and given time to adjust to his new self, but he never forgets the dark haired wolf with the violet eyes that consumes his thoughts.

Fans of this series are fully aware of Jude and Hayden's story and the lengths Hayden goes to trying to convince Jude that he's a different person than he was all those years ago. But Jude is stubborn and he has resigned himself to hating Hayden, fighting the pull he feels toward the wolf every time they are in the same room together tooth and nail. When the pair are sent on a mission to Siberia together and alone will the mutual attraction finally be explored? Or will Jude continue to fight against his feelings for Hayden and finally push him away completely with hurtful comments and ignorance?

One of my favorite aspects of this series is getting to follow the lives of characters and couples and watch them grow, into themselves and as individuals and eventually becoming friends and lovers. I've been following the story of Jude and Hayden since Jude threw Hayden into the wedding cake a dozen or so books ago. I've been watching their story develop on the sidelines for ages, covert glances and innuendos over the years have shown us that the attraction is mutual. But the pain Hayden inflicted on Jude when they were younger is not so easily forgotten. Now they are alone in Siberia and the threat from the rogue wolves looms over them and they are more open and honest with each other than they've ever been. And the sex is off the charts! That backwards lap dance alone had me fanning myself, good god almighty!!

This series and this author continue to amaze me, I mean this is book nineteen in the series and I'm still not bored! With every installment Gasq-Dion manages to bring something new to the table. I am so invested in these characters, I feel like they are extended family, and with each new book it's like a little family reunion where I get to catch up with everyone! Sexy, steamy, detailed and devious are all characteristics of Gasq-Dion's writing. If you're a fan of the M/M genre and you haven't read this series, my only question is why not??

Note: this is the 19th book in a series that most definitely should be read in order..........

8-30-13 only! FREE Kindle download: Caleo (Leech) by James Crawford

8-30-13 only! FREE Kindle download: Caleo (Leech) by James Crawford

book description:

Every High School has their social outcasts. The band nerds, the math geeks, the chess club, the girl that chews her hair, but at Butler High, even the creepy nose picker in the chess club is more popular than Caleo Anima. No matter what he did, his pale skin, snow white hair, and piercing blue eyes always made him an easy target. He used to think that the only way things could get worse would be if someone found out that he was gay, but that isn't even the tip of the iceberg of problems after a mysterious stranger shows up and changes Caleo’s life forever.

Hidden amongst our society, a secret and magical race of people known as ‘Leeches’, have been engaging in civil war for decades. Both sides are desperately searching for a weapon with unlimited power that will give them the advantage they need to rule their world. This wouldn’t mean anything to Caleo, except for one problem...He is that weapon!

Forget making it through High School. Caleo has bigger problems! As the search for him goes on, the world is quickly crumbling around him. He's now fighting for his life and the life of what little family he has left. With the help of new friends, he has little time to try and master his newly found powers as he tries to figure out who he can trust, who is trying to use him, and who just wants him dead. One wrong step and being the awkward pale outcast will be the LEAST of his worries.

excerpt:
“Don’t move! I’m coming down.” Caleo slid his legs over the edge and pushed off, landing in a crouched position beside Jack on the cement floor.
Looking around, Caleo saw a large fire roaring uncontrollably on the far side of the room.
“Well, how are we going to get out of here?” Caleo coughed through the smoke, pointing at the fire. “That’s where the stairs were.”
“Go check out the rest of the room. See if there’s anything we can use.” Jack strained to sit up.
“Okay, wait here,” Caleo instructed, helping Jack to a nearby wall before he walked off into the darkness only to return a minute later.
“Well, there’s a washer, dryer, and a small TV, but I didn’t see anything that could …” Caleo paused, hearing a voice from the flames.
“Jack, did you hear that?” Caleo asked, standing back up. “I think I heard a voice.”
“No.” Jack stretched his neck, trying to look through the black smoke and high flames.
They stood in silence for a moment before Caleo said, “I guess it was nothing. We need to find a way out of here.”
“Well, I’m open to suggestions. We’re going to be cooked if we stay down here much longer.” Jack wiped the sweat from his face with Caleo’s pants, which he still had wrapped in his hand.
Something seemed odd about that and Caleo looked at Jack more closely and saw that his body was soaked with sweat. Then he looked down at his own body realized that he didn’t even notice it was hot; he felt comfortable and he wasn’t even sweating. Although, with the smoke in the room Caleo was finding it harder to breathe and his eyes were stinging, but it was as if the fire wasn’t even producing heat for him. Then, he remembered.
“I can control the temperature around me,” Caleo whispered to himself. “Jack, you wait here and don’t panic. I'm going to find a way out.” Caleo smiled, walking towards the fire. Something inside of him telling him he could do it.
“Caleo, where are you going?” Jack yelled, trying to climb to his feet, but the pain was too much and he fell back to the ground.
Caleo heard Jack, but didn't turn around. He wanted to put his power to the test. He knew he could do it. He walked up to the fire and stopped. He was inches away and he still felt no heat. Curious, he stuck his hand into the flames and when he felt no pain he withdrew it.
“Here goes nothing.”
He took a step forward and was surrounded by the flames, but felt only sting of the smoke in his eyes and the pressure from the lack of oxygen as he gasped for breath. Caleo took a few more steps into the fire and stopped when he realized that the hem of his loose fitting Spider-Man boxers were on fire. Reflexively his hand flew to smack out the flame, when he noticed that any time his hand got close the flames the flames were extinguished.
Okay, Caleo thought. Now how do I do that to the rest of the room?
Closing his eyes, Caleo concentrated.
Heat is one of the three elements of fire. Get rid of the heat. Put the fire out. That’s why the fire went out on my boxers, Caleo thought, his mind making the connection between the extinguished flame and his power.
Think cold. Blizzard. Sled riding. No, I’ve got to think colder.
He opened his eyes and stuck his arms straight out from his sides, palms flat and facing the floor.
“Okay, concentrate, Caleo. Blizzard, blizzard, Jack falling into the frozen-over creek last winter and having to run all the way home dripping wet.”
Caleo felt a chill run up his spine, then slowly, the fire around him started to go out. “It’s working!” Caleo coughed out excitedly.
He slowly walked around the room, arms outstretched like an airplane, putting out the fire within a three foot radius of his body. Once all of the fires were out, Caleo leaned up against a wall, exhausted and panting for breath in the cool, pitch black room. He could no longer feel his energy being sapped to sustain his power. He laid his head back and rested his eyes.

Crash Into Me release day bash & giveaway**

Tristan Stone was powerful, commanding, sex incarnate. And he wore it all so well. From the moment his mesmerizing gaze met mine, I had no choice but surrender to everything he was. His power. His decadence. His passion. He was all I never knew I needed.

He wanted to possess me, and I wanted to be his everything. All I had to do was accept what he offered. But everything has a price.

The world he gave me fulfilled my wildest dreams, but would that be enough when the past crashed into the present?

Excerpt from Crash Into Me:

He slid the tie from my neck and undid all his work. "Now you show me what you learned." I attempted to take the tie from his hand, but he pulled it away and whispered, "On me. Turn around and sit toward me." Nervous fear shot through me as I stood up, and I hoped I'd be able to turn around without my legs giving out. The dress I wore only fell to the middle of my thighs, so when I straddled him, it was likely to ride up so far my panties would show. I didn't care about that so much as him knowing that I was already dripping wet just from sitting there pressed up against him. Taking a deep breath, I turned around and climbed on top of his lap. He stared into my eyes, unnerving me, but something held me firm in his gaze. His hard cock pressed against the front of his pants and my damp panties. There was no way he didn't know how excited he'd made me. I took the tie from his hand and slid it around his strong neck, even as my fingers trembled at the feel of him underneath them. Trying to hide my ignorance of my task, I wrapped the wide end of the tie around the narrow end, but it was no use. I didn't know what came next. Dropping the two ends of silk, I looked down to avoid his gaze. "I'm sorry. I don't know how to do this." "You didn't listen when I told you how to?" he asked in a voice that was as seductive as it was stern. Shaking my head, I continued to look down at the untied ends of the blue fabric laying against his shirt. "I couldn't. You were so close, and it was impossible to pay attention to what you were saying." He slid his hands down my back and cupped my ass to pull me into him, grinding my soaked panties into the thin fabric separating his cock from me. Kneading my flesh through my dress, he whispered near my mouth, "I love how honest you are, Nina. It makes me want to be honest with you." I wasn't sure how to answer, but it didn't matter. As my head swum from the sensations he'd created in me, he pressed his mouth to mine and kissed me. His lips were soft yet demanding, and I eagerly kissed him back, seeking a release of that sweet ache, but his kiss only increased the feeling, making me want more. He nudged his hips off the couch, sliding his cock over my sensitive clit, and I couldn't stop myself from moaning into his mouth. I didn't want him to think he had this effect on me so soon, but I was powerless. I wanted him so badly at that moment, I would have done anything to keep his hands on my body.

Wrong Kind of Love blog tour. Spotlight & Giveaway**

*This book is NOT recommended for anyone under 18. It contains sex, drugs, and under age drinking*

The first time I ever saw Caden Harper I’m pretty sure I fell in love. All that golden hair and pale blue eyes. He was mysterious and covered in paint. I found it endearing and wanted nothing more than to find out all his secrets. I gave that man things I would never give anyone else. He blew it though. Which I shouldn’t be surprised considering he is a womanizer.

So I moved on, well kind of. Jaden Harper wasn’t what I expected. I found myself drawn to him almost as much as his brother. Maybe it’s the fact they are twins or maybe it was the fact I wanted to live on the wrong side for once in my life.

Now I’ve found myself dug deep in this game. There's no end in sight and I wonder when all the lies I have told will come back to haunt me. Neither man should know the things I’ve gone through. Neither should trust me. I’m not who I say I am. My past is full of things I won’t ever share.

But where will that lead me when Caden wants nothing more than to consume me? He won’t wake up to see he has the wrong kind of love.

My Name is Grace Breadfield and this is my story.

~ Tell us more about you. Where were you born, and where do you call home?

I was born in New Hartford, NY on July 31st. If I had been born twenty-seven minutes later I would have been born in August and wouldn’t share a birthday with Harry Potter, which would have made my life that much less interesting. Currently, I live in Little Falls, NY with my fiance, Patrick, and our dog, Lenni, who is actively pursuing the title of most spoiled pet in existence.

~ For those not familiar with your story, give them some details.

What Evan Elemental boils down to is a coming of age story. If you were to strip away all of the supernatural elements, you would find a girl whose world has been turned upside down by the death of her parents. As the story progresses, she will discover how little she knew about the people she called mom and dad. As it is, there are a whole lot of supernatural hijinks, including elemental manipulation and travel across space and time. There might even be a few vampires, but you’ll just have to read to find out :)

~ What prompted the cover change?

A month or so ago I decided to pursue print copies of Evan Elemental. I decided that if I were to have them printed, I wanted a professionally designed cover instead of the one I made pretty much on my iPhone. While I liked the old cover, I felt it wasn’t high resolution enough and didn’t adequately represent the story I was trying to tell.

~ What is your writing process?

I don’t have a set process. Initially, I do most of my writing in my head. A lot of the Evan Elemental series has been written while I was in bed, in the shower, driving, etc. Once I feel like I have a clear outline of a scene or chapter, I sit down and just start typing. While I write, I like to have background noise either in the form of the TV or a playlist I’ve created.

~ What has been the most interesting comment or review about your book?

I did have a close friend tell me that she was disappointed by it because “nothing happened.” It was kind of shocking and funny to me that she would say that because I thought quite a lot happened, but it doesn’t upset me. I would consider it more a problem if everyone universally liked it.

~ Whom would you say has influenced you the most.

I don’t think I really took my writing seriously until I started taking creative writing classes while in college. I had one particular professor who definitely inspired me and taught me that I can always be better. His passion for writing and language has really stuck with me even years later.

~ What are you reading now?

Currently, I’m not reading anything. But that’s only because I’m holding out for Girl On Tour by Caisey Quinn and Sometimes It Lasts by Abbi Glines to come out on 8/27.

~ What's next for you? Sequel, new story??

I’m actively working on the sequel to Evan Elemental, tentatively titled Evan Evolved. I’m planning on having a total of four books in the series with Book Two coming out this November. Aside from EE, I’m working on a couple of other projects: one involving dragons and Celtic lore, the other a non-supernatural story about a twenty-something female drug dealer who gets caught up in a steamy romance with a homicide detective.
