In the year 2081 our planet survived global warming of an apocalyptic scale. When the dust settled and the water receded Dr. Anthony Smith, one of only a few hundred survivors of GWI, started society anew. Having come to the conclusion that injudicious breeding played a huge role in the destruction of Earth as we knew it in the twenty first century, he worked closely with other survivors to isolate the Dionysus gene. This gene has the ability to manipulate human DNA to ensure that all male children be born gay, and all female children be born lesbians.

In the year 2300 Dr. Smith’s descendants are ushering in the twenty fourth century having maintained control of the government that still rules society. Twins Aiya and Aiyan are preparing to meet their matches and take control of House Gaeland, the current ruling House.
But not everything is as it seems.

Love is Love.. it knows no gender and doesn’t conform to restrictions and boundaries. Aiyan has found his soul mate in Kaden, the prince of House Devi that he is matched with and eventually marries. But when the person Aiya falls in love with tests the boundaries put in place after GWI, all hell breaks loose. And in the midst of one secret unraveling, another will emerge. There is a growing anomaly that threatens to destroy over two hundred years of progression.
This anomaly is known as Opposites.

*WARNING* Opposites is a majorly M/M New Adult novel that contains explicit sexual content and relationships between gay, lesbian and straight couples.

The Library, an Opposites Novella, by TM Smith
Three gay couples run amuck in this short story where clothing, beds, even four walls are all optional!

Want to know what happened that night in the library?
Cirian and Rian had a fight in the library and Rian ends up naked on the desk, on his back, at Cirian's mercy.

Want to know how far things went with ice cream?
A romantic evening by the fire feeding his husband ice cream leads to a lot more than heavy petting for Aiyan and Kaden.

Want to know what was going on when those birds fled?
Travelling hundreds of miles, battling the rebels and then travelling back to House Gaeland will take it out of you. But when Tanis wants something, he takes it. Raven is about to be bent over a tree!

A Note from the Author: I've taken three scenes from Opposites that were cut short and elaborated on the shenanigans that ensued. I also focused more in the beginning on the relationship between Cirian and Rian, to give readers a chance to know them and their inner workings better.

**Warning, The Library is a novella set in the same world as Opposites. It's an adult dystopian M/M novella that includes consenting and explicit sexual relationships between gay couples**

This trilogy is a story of love, loss, betrayal and self awareness. Seraphina Parish starts out as a confused teenager trying to figure out who she is and why her dreams are haunted. When she moves to Chicago to live with her aunt the mystery starts to unravel. Sera learns she is gifted with abilities that are both wonderful and dangerous. She attends school with other teenagers like her with heightened awareness and special talents. She hones her skills as a Wanderer, falls for her protector, makes friends and makes enemies.

In Protecting Truth Sera is growing as a person, a wanderer and a fighter. But she is keeping secrets from Bishop and the rest of her team, a decision that could have deadly consequences. Sera is trying to save her mother and while doing so, she uncovers even more secrets about herself and the Wanderer society. There is corruption, more lies and an oh so hot love triangle between Sera, Bishop and the twin brother, Turner. Sera's life is ever evolving as is her confusion. Who can she trust?

In Seeing Light, Sera learns that the secrets of the Society run deep, as does the corruption. Over the course of this trilogy she has grown so much, but she still has a purpose. I think that all the characters evolved in this final installment and became so much more than they were in the beginning. Mystery, heartbreak, suspense and intrigue overflowed in this action packed finale to a much loved series. I loved that throughout these books Sera and Bishop continued to grow and learn. Bishop is angry, confused and hurt; but he's steadfast and loyal. An unexpected turn of events and an ending I didn't see coming, made this both sad and satisfying. Sad to see the journey end, but very satisfied with how it did.

Michelle Warren is the author of Wander Dust and Protecting Truth, the first and second books in The Seraphina Parrish Trilogy. She didn’t travel the road to writer immediately. First, she spent over a decade as professional illustrator and designer. Her artistic creativity combined with her love of science fiction, paranormal, and fantasy led her to write her first YA novel. Michelle loves reading and traveling to places that inspire her to create. She resides in Maryland, in a historic Baltimore row-home, with her wonderful husband.

Sarah Daltry writes about the regular people who populate our lives. She’s written works in various genres – romance, erotica, fantasy, horror. Genre isn’t as important as telling a story about people and how their lives unfold. Sarah tends to focus on YA/NA characters but she’s been known to shake it up. Most of her stories are about relationships – romantic, familial, friendly – because love and empathy are the foundation of life. It doesn’t matter if the story is set in contemporary NY, historical Britain, or a fantasy world in the future – human beings are most interesting in the ways they interact with others. This is the principle behind all of Sarah’s stories.
Sarah has spent most of her life in school, from her BA and MA in English and writing to teaching both at the high school and college level. She also loves studying art history and really anything because learning is fun.

When Sarah isn’t writing, she tends to waste a lot of time checking Facebook for pictures of cats, shooting virtual zombies, and simply staring out the window.

Something Great by M. Clarke Book Blast

She didn’t know what she was missing…until he found her.
Maxwell Knight was positively trouble, dangerously good-looking, and seductively charming. He was everything Jeanella didn’t need in her life. Only Maxwell didn’t see it that way. His pursuit was relentless, making her even more determined to push him away.
Fresh out of college, life was simple and plain for Jeanella Mefferd. Every part of her life was smooth sailing; her friends, her job, and even the guy she’d started dating. Then one night, while at dinner, she spotted someone who made her feel things she’d never felt before—dangerous, heart pounding and breathless heat. Thinking she would never see him again, she brushed it off, but when she started to run into him unexpectedly, all she could think of was how he made her feel with his sweet flirtations. Everything about Maxwell Knight screamed trouble, especially when she found out he was her new boss’s son. Now, heading to a New York fashion show, would she be able to focus on her career instead of Maxwell, who had been scheduled to attend with her? As much as she tried to forget their encounters, his good looks, smooth words and determination to win her over gravitated her toward him. The next thing she knew, her mind was utterly consumed by him. Would she be willing to ignore all the dangerous signs and jump into his arms? Or would she miss out on the chance of finding something great?

Splendor by Elana K. Arnold blog tour {review & giveaway}

Splendor, the stunning sequel to Sacred, is a story about changing friendships, family, romance, passion, the study of Kabbalah, and self-discovery.
Sometimes the answers we seek aren’t ours to find. . . .
Scarlett loves her boyfriend, the dashing, mysterious Will Cohen. But now he’s gone east for college, and Scarlett is stuck home on Catalina Island. Senior year should be a breeze, but between dealing with her parents’ separation and her wild best friend, Lily, things are off to a rocky start. And then there’s Gunner. Dangerous, dark, ferociously attractive Gunner. Lily’s potential boyfriend, Gunner . . .
Scarlett distracts herself by spending time with her horse and delving into ecstatic mysticism, a way to practice Kabbalah. Through this practice, she hopes to learn to control her emotions, and begin to make sense of her place in the world. But Scarlett’s world is increasingly unrecognizable.
Are Lily and Scarlett becoming too different to stay friends? Is Will still the love of Scarlett’s life, even though she has feelings for Gunner? Does being in love mean only being attracted to one person? The more Scarlett questions, the fewer answers there seem to be.
Praise for Splendor:
“As in Arnold’s earlier Sacred, teens will gravitate toward Scarlett and her problems. Arnold has painted a very realistic picture of teenage girls and their conflicting emotions. . . . Fans of the first novel will appreciate continuing Scarlett’s story and finding some closure with this sequel. Readers unfamiliar with Sacred will still be able to enjoy Splendor.”—VOYA
Praise for Sacred:
“Will appeal to many teens, especially fans of the Twilight series.”–Booklist
“Filled with tension and angst. . . . Readers will be looking for the next installment.”–School Library Journal
“A poignant novel of loss and grief, but also of hope.”–VOYA
You can purchase Splendor at the following Retailers:

Splendor is the sequel to Sacred and continues the journey in the ever evolving lives of Scarlett and Will. Scarlett has started her senior year in high school and Will has gone of to college. Both stay strong in their love for each other, but explore the individual aspects of their lives as well. Scarlett stays busy with her now pregnant horse and the study of Kabbalah. That is until an attractive and mysterious stranger comes to town. Gunner is everything that Will is not and Scarlett loves Will, so she's really confused at her developing feelings for Gunner. Add to that his potential candidacy to be her best friend Lily's boyfriend. But there is a dark side to Gunner and he goes out of his way to drive a wedge between the best friends. Will he succeed in separating Scarlett and Will as well?

At its core, Splendor is a novel about faith, hope and love. The characters are realistic and have a depth to them, perhaps because the challenges they face are relatable. Scarlett is separated from the love of her life while battling her growing feelings for another young man. She's fighting with her best friend and her parents have separated. On top of all that, Will is continuing to explore his abilities and putting himself in danger.

Arnold set a steady pace with the perfect balance of details and descriptions within this story. Scarlett is a worthy heroine and I love that she's not fake, she is continually evolving on her journey of self awareness. If you're a fan of romance, fantasy and contemporary fiction then you should definitely consider this series.

ELANA K. ARNOLD completed her M.A. in Creative Writing/Fiction at the University of California, Davis. She grew up in Southern California, where she was lucky enough to have her own horse–a gorgeous mare named Rainbow–and a family who let her read as many books as she wanted. She lives in Long Beach, California, with her husband, two children, and a menagerie of animals. She is represented by Rubin Pfeffer of the East/West Literary Agency. Sacred is her debut novel.
