TTC welcomes GRL Author Deanna Wadsworth, the Naughty North Pole series {spotlight & COMMENT giveaway}

Since birth, demi-god Nick Claus has heard the demands, wishes and dreams of all humans. Unable to grant the wishes of adults because they want love, health, and peace on Earth—things he cannot provide—Nick has devoted his eternity to granting the wishes of children by bringing them toys on Christmas Eve.

But what about the things Nick wants? Will he ever find the love he craves? Or will he continue to pretend the North Pole has not become lonely and Christmas is all he needs?

Enter Jack Frost.

The winter sprite has been teasing Nick and flirting with him ever since the first kiss they shared, centuries ago. With a saucy proposition, Jack convinces Nick to take a few minutes out for himself despite the busy Christmas season. The catch is, Jack hates Christmas.
Will Nick be able to melt the heart of Jack Frost, or will he end up getting frostbite from this sexy, naughty sprite?

Christmas is coming a little early this year with this saucy M/M author spotlight! Join me in welcoming Author Deanna Wadsworth to the blog for a spotlight on her 'Naughty North Pole' series, a COMMENT giveaway, an author interview and her advice for us newbies attending GRL this year.

Let start by having you introduce yourself Deanna. Where are you from, and where do you call home?

Thank you for hosting me! I am Deanna Wadsworth and I’m from the Midwest. I call Ohio home and the hubby and I live in a historical town called Grand Rapids which sits of the Maumee River not too far from Toledo.

Red Riding HoodWhat made you decide to become an author?

I’ve always created my own worlds and told stories, whether in my elaborate Barbie games or around the campfire. In high school I actually wrote romance novels—though they will never see the light of day! LOL After career, marriage and life distracted me in my twenties, I picked up writing again. Joining my local RWA chapter really brought me focus and a direction to pursue publication which happened in 2010 with an erotic retelling of RED RIDING HOOD which in now part of a .99 cent trio of my erotic fairy tales here: http://www.amazon.com/Deanna-Wadsworth-Box-Set-Bonanza-ebook/dp/B00BG1V3ZS/ref=sr_1_8?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1410708188&sr=1-8

What genre do you mainly write in?

I mostly write gay romance and erotica. It seems lately that I am focusing my longer books toward angsty historicals, LOL but I did just submit a teen gay romance to my publisher.

Ms. Claus's List (The Naughty North Pole, #1)I love your concept for The Naughty North Pole books, the Claus’s are twins, not married. How did you come up with this idea?

A friend and I were talking and the story just sort of evolved with much laughter. When we came up with candy flavored cum for the elves, it just exploded and I wrote the first draft in about a week
Ms. Claus, Santa’s twin sister can be a little naughty when her brother is away. Can you give us a little inside info… just how naughty shall she be? Ms. Claus’s List: http://www.amazon.com/Clauss-List-Naughty-North-Pole-ebook/dp/B006CRUVZE/ref=la_B0040QW2SS_1_11?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1407160197&sr=1-11

Well, Frieda is her name and the opening line of the book is “I want cock for Christmas.” LOL and boy does she get it! She holds a pageant of sexy elves and the finalists are chosen by cock size and flavor. But she can’t just pick one and ends up with THREE hotties who enjoy playing with each other as much as Ms. Claus!

Pip's Boxing Day Wish (The Naughty North Pole, #2)In Pip’s book it is the morning after the naughty foursome with Ms. Claus, is there hope that Pip will get his Christmas wish as well? Pip’s Boxing Day Wish: http://www.amazon.com/Pips-Boxing-Wish-Naughty-North-ebook/dp/B006ML8KD0/ref=la_B0040QW2SS_1_7?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1407160197&sr=1-7

Pip is one of the elves Ms. Claus chose for her naughty night and he is a little shocked by his boldness, and a little worried that he may have given himself a bad reputation. Especially because he’s more than interested in one of the other elves from that night—Erik, who has chocolate flavored cum!

Santa and Jack Frost, Wow, that is a slightly twisted visual, esssplain… A Gift for Santa: http://www.amazon.com/Gift-Santa-Naughty-North-Pole-ebook/dp/B00AH014P8/ref=sr_1_3?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1410708188&sr=1-3

And right now it is only .99 on Amazon!!

Well, who else would Santa fall in love with? LOL This story tells of a very different Santa Claus...a very lonely one. He’s been pining for Jack Frost for centuries after they shared a scorching kiss but the trouble is Jack hates Christmas!

Lars and Rudolph, oh my, I’m giddy with anticipation for this one. “One thing is certain: after this night, they both will believe in the magic of the Naughty North Pole!” any juicy details you can share, I’m a little nosey. (get it, nose, nevermind) Fun and Games with Rudolph: http://www.amazon.com/Games-With-Rudolph-Naughty-North-ebook/dp/B00GXHWRUK/ref=pd_sim_b_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=1P4VET24793W6E382AGZ

Fun and Games With Rudolph (The Naughty North Pole #4)LOL Well Lars has made several appearances in the NNP books and he is an infamous player who lives by the rule “no repeats” when it comes to his lovers. That is until he develops an online love affair with another elf on the new dating website Elf for Elf. But after the relationship goes South, Lars is pretty bummed. But at least he has Ms. Claus’s party to look forward to. But then Santa asks him personally to deliver a package to Rudolph, the infamous reindeer handler who left the North Pole and lives like a hermit on Sugar Plum Ridge! Now Lars’s Christmas is ruined just like his love life—or is it?

Are there any other secrets from the North Pole you want to share today? Another story in the works?

Yes, Book Five is coming out this Holiday—EVERYBODY HATES FRUITCAKE!
Oh, readers are in for a treat of everybody’s least favorite dessert! Ivan is loving his new life at the North Pole but he has a secret he is keeping from everyone—he has fruitcake flavored cum. Poor Ivan thinks no one can love the real him. But his friend Danni and her wife Sheila have a plan to help Ivan learn to love himself

Tell us what you are working on now, to release next?

I would really like to see Lio and Ethan get a HEA. In addition to EVERYBODY HATES FRUITCAKE I also have a full length novel coming from Dreamspinner this March called WRECKED. It is a historical Pre-Civil War romance set in Key West, Florida. There is a lot of angst, romance and even some paranormal action which is sure to keep readers page turning. I have also submitted a gay teen romance which I may publish under a different pen name which is TBA.

How are you prepping for GRL? Is this your first time to attend? And what advice would you give us first timers out there while we prepare for the event.

This is my third year, and aside from blogging about the interweb, I am ordering swag and goodies for my fans. I am also part of a fun spotlight with the amazing Amy Lane and Jet Mykles about fantasy. Everyone needs to mark their itinerary because it will be more than just a Q&A but a GAME with fabulous prizes!

My advice to newbies is just have fun! GRL is like your Facebook come to life, and you are gonna want to enjoy every second. Feel free to come up to me with a hug, I love talking to people and love nothing more than hanging out with hundreds of people who have a passion and love for gay romance novels. J I cannot wait to see all of you!
~Deanna

Deanna Wadsworth might be a bestselling erotica author, but she leads a pretty vanilla life in Ohio with her wonderful husband and a couple adorable cocker spaniels. She has been spinning tales and penning stories since childhood, and her first erotic novella was published in 2010. When she isn't writing books or brainstorming with friends, you can find her making people gorgeous in a beauty salon. She loves music and dancing, and can often be seen hanging out on the sandbar in the muddy Maumee River or chilling with her hubby and a cocktail in their basement bar. In between all that fun, Deanna cherishes the quiet times when she can let her wildly active imagination have the full run of her mind. Her fascination with people and the interworkings of their relationships have always inspired her to write romance with spice and love without boundaries.
