Round & Round (Bronco's Boys book #4) by @AndrewGreyBooks | Release day Review, Guest Post & COMMENT Giveaway

Round & Round | Bronco's Boys book 4

***** Tams 4.5 Star Review *****

When it comes to love, Kevin Foster can’t seem to win. Some consider him a hero but dousing an arsonist’s attempt to burn Bronco’s to the ground puts Kevin on the vengeful criminal’s radar. Afterward, the arsonist fixates on Kevin, determined to burn away every part of Kevin’s life.

Coming to Kevin’s rescue more than once, and in more ways than one is “MacDreamy Hotness”—firefighter Angus MacTavish. Not only is Angus smitten, at first sight, he learns Kevin’s nickname for him, intriguing him further.

When Angus discovers Kevin is the arsonist’s target, he takes it upon himself to protect him at any cost. Soon Kevin works his way into a heart Angus thought he’d closed off for good. Things heat up between them, but the arsonist has no intention of letting Kevin finally find happiness. Hopefully, Angus and Kevin can stop him before he reduces everything Kevin values to ash—including the love igniting between him and Angus.

Kevin, Zach, Jeremy and Tristan are best friends and very protective of each other. The thing that continues to separate Kevin from the group is his missing plus one. Kevin has had boyfriends here and there, but a man that wants to stick around through the good and the bad still eludes Kevin. When someone starts a fire at Bronco’s and Kevin intercedes he catches the eye of drop dead sexy, Irish firefighter, Angus. Unfortunately, he catches the eye of the arsonist as well.

Angus MacTavish hasn’t had the best of luck with men either. His longest relationship was with the ill-tempered, bad mannered cop that is the lead on the fire investigation at Bronco’s. But Angus finds himself enamored with the cute guy that is nervous, anxious, talks too much and just generally makes Angus smile. The two circle around each other for a while, knowing they want more from each other, but both stubborn and set in their ways. When Kevin’s life is threatened by the arsonist, Angus finally figures out what is important, but is it too little too late?

I was a little bit disappointed when I read the synopsis for this book and saw that Kevin’s love interest wasn’t Ken. There is a brief glimpse of where Ken is in the world of the story, but after meeting Angus and watching him and Kevin grow both as individuals and as a couple, I realized that Angus was the perfect fit for the fourth musketwink. Kevin is wild, unbridled, sometimes skittish and often a firecracker that sucks all the air out of a room. Angus is this overwhelming personality that is smitten from the start, but he is also Irish and has the red hair and temper to prove it. They really are the perfect match. First they will have to put the mistakes of their pasts behind them and realize that not everyone leaves.

At one point in the story there is a sudden disconnect between Kevin and Angus that threw me. It didn’t read true the way it happened and it pulled me out of the story for a few minutes. Other than that, I really enjoyed this final dance with the Bronco’s boys and their partners. I’ve loved the escapades and dramatics that surround each story, travelling the journey with these 8 men as they opened themselves up, let go of their fear and found their place in life while at the same time, finding their soul mates.

I’m a little bit sad to see this series come to an end, but I always knew that once the four friends found their man, that would bring everything full circle. I’m quite excited that Grey has now said while this series is finished, there is going to be a spin off in Angus’s world of sexy firefighters.

Bronco's Boys comes to an end...

Round and Round, the last story in the Bronco’s Boys series releases on December 14 and that brings the series to an end. Zach and each of his friends will have found the love of their lives. I’m going to find it hard to say goodbye to this world. So I decided not to. I will not be continuing this series, but I have started a new spinoff series with firemen that will take the reader into Angus; world and center on some of his friends and coworkers. Let’s face it, firefighters are sexy. They rick their lives each day to help keep us safe.  It isn’t  a job as much as it is a calling.

At the moment I don’t have a title for the story I’m working on, which is a real pain.  I’m going to have to ask Dominic. But I wanted you to know that the fun will go on, just in a different form.

  12. I am looking forward to the latest Bronco's Boys book, but to pick a favourite of all Andrew's books that I have read is to tricky. I could go to the first book I read which was A Taste of Love (loved the whole series) or the next A Shared Range (again loved the whole series), but I also love the Sense series... and just started collecting the Arts series. Happy Holidays and thank you for a chance to add another book of Andrew Grey's to my collection <3 slholland22 {at} hotmail {dot} com
