Author of the Month for February is

Shaye Evans M/M Best Selling Author

Born and raised in rural Australia, Shaye Evans is a proud bestselling author of inspirational, sexy M/M fiction and its many sub-genres for new adult and adults. At age nineteen, Shaye found her love in the genre when she read her first M/M and was instantly hooked, but it took her an entire year to begin writing her own.

While weaving inspiration through her work is Shaye's main goal, you'll also often find touches of spark in her projects that will leave you hanging for more. As an author and supporter to the LGBT community, Shaye wishes to inspire anyone who reads her books and hope they help in whatever insignificant or significant way.

When not writing or plotting her next piece, Shaye keeps busy by reading one of over four hundred books in her collection, designing her next book cover, walking her fur-baby, Shy, or shopping. She one day dreams of her books making it to the movies!

Week 4, Seduction Squad

A little kindness can go a long way—as Lockland found when he gave Adan a sub sandwich. Now, five years later, their bond is strong.
After receiving a call to an apartment fire, Adan fears for Lockland’s safety when the ceiling caves in, but little does Adan know it makes Lockland realize one important thing: life is too short to be left wondering. So what will Lock do when the squad’s youngest member, Jay, asks to join him and Adan in the back of the squad truck?

Author Q&A Part III with Shaye Evans

Describe the perfect writing space.
Somewhere hot, with blistering sun with the sound of trickling water, near or on the beach with a cool-ish breeze and the scent of the sea.

Do you do research for your books? If so, what does that entail?
Always--I often joke about the cops will be knocking on the door to question my questionable net history. But apart from using google, I’ll ask friends if they have any connections and such in the field or subject I want to know more about, or I’ll research with a book.

How many books have you written? Which is your favorite?
Oh geez, I was trying to work this out the other day…  Well, I have eight published in M/M and have several I’m yet to finish and a couple I’ve finished but will most likely never publish because I wrote them back when I first began writing M/F. My favourite…? You’re asking me to choose between my babies? I could never just choose one!

Do you hear from your readers much? What do they say?
Yes and no. Back when I used to write fanfiction and M/F I’d get hundreds of personal messages saying ‘you’re the reason I began writing,’ or ‘kept writing,’ which always gave me the warm fuzzies and made me smile. These days I hear from people more in their reviews, but it’s still nice and makes my heart leap with joy.
