#TTCAOTM Lily Adile Lamb @1LilyLamb - Spotlight on The Nameless One w/Author Q&A Part I #mmromance #LGBTReads #giveaway

TTC Books and more Author of the Month for August is
Lily Adile Lamb ~

This week the Spotlight is on The Nameless One...

The Nameless One

He was the only nameless one among his kind, the result of his mother’s forbidden affair with a human. He was the only one the others teased and tormented, the only one who longed for his own sex – a crime among his kind. And when he repeated his mother’s mistake with a human male, the punishment was terrible – his wings were broken, his body was crushed, and he was imprisoned in a bottle, freed only to grant the wishes of whichever greedy human found him next. And there he stayed, alone.

Faine was born different, too, his legs withered at birth, his little body left at the edge of the woods for the other abandoned ones to take in. Sylvonna the wise woman raised him in kindness, and the sheep he tended were patient with his slow, painful gait. It was a good life…only he longed for a lover of his own sex, and while there was no shame in it among his people, there were none among them who shared that longing. And so he was alone.

The forest whispered to Faine, that he would find love…that his true love was coming soon.

And when the nameless one was at last freed from his prison, his release would come on a mountain, near a forest…a forest where the world’s other outcasts dwelt. A mountain where Faine would bring his sheep to graze…

“The Nameless One” is a fable, a fairy tale, a love story about two broken creatures who are made whole at last.

Author Q&A Part I with Lily Adile Lamb...

Where are you from, and where do you call home?

I am Turkish and I call Australia home. I’ve been living here for sixteen years now.

What inspired you to start writing?

The more I read, the more characters popped in my head demanding me to write their tales. With each one, I wanted to give the message “Love is universal”.

How long have you been writing?

Just over a year… I know, I am a new entrant to this field.

What advice would you give a new writer just starting out?

I would say, sometimes all we need is our little hope and motivation to give our dream a chance to eventuate. Just write what is in your heart and head and then make sure you have beta readers and a very good editor. Be open minded because you want readers to like your story. Be humble and develop some thick skin because there will always be someone who will say something very personal and you may feel hurt. Remember, when you write, you are leaving yourself exposed out there for criticism. Take a deep breath and make sure your story went through the editing system.
Lily Adile is from Turkey. She works as a nurse by day and writes LGBT Romance by night.
She visits her family in Turkey regularly and travel to other countries like Singapore to visit the other family members.

She is blessed with three grown up children and a furry child, JJ Basil.
Lily Adile's focus in her LGBT stories are on mere mortals because she believes that love is universal. Her mortal heroes are not rich, famous or incredibly handsome males with six pack bodies… rather they are just everyday men who work hard and deal with whatever that life throws at them.

Lily Adile is against bullying in any form. She is actively involved with Marriage Equality and stands by the same sex couples who want to have children. She believes that primarily, a child needs a loving, protective home.

Lily’s biggest regret is not studying English formally because writing stories, consequentially, takes much longer. She still gets there of course, thanks to her bevy of loyal and supportive beta readers, editors and wonderful friends.

Lily especially thanks her husband with all her heart for his endless patience, love and support. He is the love of her life and apple of her eye….he is the home she goes to at the end of a hard day at work.

"I am both a mother and wife, I work as a nurse during the day and write LGBTQI stories late at night once the family are tucked in bed. I studied in the UK and worked there for a few years before I moved to Australia, settling down for good."

The Cellar (an Opposites novella) by TM Smith Audiobook tour - Schedule, Links and #giveaway #mmromance #QueerSciFi @TTCBooksandmore @sweetheataudio

It's time to learn the truth about what happened that day in The Cellar.
Taryn and Thanos are the formidable Ambassadors of House Orion. Taryn was born into power, bred from birth to lead the people of Greece along with his sister Theresa. Thanos was never a part of his mothers' plan. The son of a fisherman was not a suitable match for the son of Greece as far as their mothers' were concerned, but Taryn usually gets his way.
The Cellar is the story of how these two men met and fell in love, and what lengths Taryn went to, to ensure he kept his man. This novella also contains a more detailed accounting of what happened the night Raven and Tanis went for a walk on the beach, and the adult version ofMistletoe and Mayhem that was initially released as a free short through Goodreads.
The Cellar is much like the deleted scenes from your favorite movie. I've taken several scenes that were either cut short or removed from the book Appearances, and elaborated on them to create the short, sexy, and steamy novella.

Note: The Cellar is available on Whispersync for just $1.99 if you already have the E-book!

Love is Proud an Anthology of stories by JMS Books Authors #PrayForPulse #LoveIsLouder

In the early morning hours of Sunday, June 12, 2016, a gunman entered Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida, and opened fire. Forty-nine innocent people lost their lives that night, and many more were injured. The LGBT community reeled when the news broke, not only because it was the deadliest mass shooting in the US to date, but because the act of terror and hatred was aimed directly at them.

In the aftermath, many of us struggled for a way to express our grief and fear. With that goal in mind, the authors of JMS Books sought an outlet for their emotions; thus, this anthology of short stories and poems was created.

Love Is Proud celebrates queer love in all its forms, showing that love must triumph over hate. Whether it's spending a quiet evening together at home, a night out on the town, or attending the local Pride event, this collection embraces how empowering love can be between men -- or women, or any and every shade under the LGBTQIA umbrella.

Featuring never before published work from 49 different authors, Love Is Proud is a collaborative effort whose entire proceeds will go to Equality Florida to benefit the victims and their families of the Pulse nightclub shooting. All the work in the collection, including the editing, has been donated to offset the costs. This stunning anthology will be a charitable keepsake whose message of pride in who and how we love is an enduring testament to all those affected by this tragedy.

Authors included in this anthology are: Jeff Adams, Addison Albright, John Amory, Leska Beikircher, Mychael Black, Mel Bossa, David Connor and E.F. Mulder, T.A. Creech, Nanisi Barrett D'Arnuk, Kim Davis, Annie Dean, Vivien Dean, Keelan Ellis, Paul Alan Fahey, Eric Fahnestock, Dean Frech, Francis Gideon, Lisa Gray, La Toya Hankins, William Holden, Drew Hunt, Rebecca James, Nickie Jamison, Shawna Jeanne, Iyana Jenna, Dilo Keith, Shawn Lane, Kassandra Lea, W.S. Long, Rae MacGregor, Wayne Mansfield, J.T. Marie, Matthew J. Metzger, Ruby Moone, H.D. Nels, Deirdre O'Dare, R.M. Olivia, Terry O'Reilly, Jessica Payseur, Matthew Robbins, Rob Rosen, Feral Sephrian, J.M. Snyder, Louis Stevens, Michael P. Thomas, Tinnean, J. Tomas, J.D. Walker, and Emery C. Walters.

Fish Out of Water by Amy Lane - Cat's Release day Review #mmromance #LGBTReads @Dreamspinners @amymaclane

PI Jackson Rivers grew up on the mean streets of Del Paso Heights—and he doesn’t trust cops, even though he was one. When the man he thinks of as his brother is accused of killing a police officer in an obviously doctored crime, Jackson will move heaven and earth to keep Kaden and his family safe.

Defense attorney Ellery Cramer grew up with the proverbial silver spoon in his mouth, but that hasn’t stopped him from crushing on street-smart, swaggering Jackson Rivers for the past six years. But when Jackson asks for his help defending Kaden Cameron, Ellery is out of his depth—and not just with guarded, prickly Jackson. Kaden wasn’t just framed, he was framed by crooked cops, and the conspiracy goes higher than Ellery dares reach—and deep into Jackson’s troubled past.

Both men are soon enmeshed in the mystery of who killed the cop in the minimart, and engaged in a race against time to clear Kaden’s name. But when the mystery is solved and the bullets stop flying, they’ll have to deal with their personal complications… and an attraction that’s spiraled out of control.

Cat gives this one 5 Meows with a 4 Purr heat index...

I love Amy Lane, though I have to admit this is very different being a mystery suspense and I LOVED it.

Jackson Rivers grew up very poor and ended up living with his best friend's family at the young age of 16. Jackson is bisexual and has an on and off  thing with  Jade, his best friends sister.  The book starts off with a hot sex scene that sets the stage for the story. They get a call fro Kaden that brings old nightmares back to life. As the story progresses we learn a lot of Jackson past and that he worked under cover to help put away a bad cop. As the story unfolds so does more of his past and it ties in with this story as well.  Jackson is a man that likes control. And his mongrel cat.

Ellery Cramer is a very successful lawyer. He is from money, Ivy league schools and works at a prestigious law-firm that both Jackson and Jade work at as well.  Ellery is a force to be reckoned with in and out of the courtroom.

I absolutely loved this story. I loved how two worlds collided and became one ( Ellery's wealth and  Jackson from the other side of the tracks), how they are colleagues yet not really friends(both secretly crushing on the other)the mystery of dirty cops and the romance.

I think Ellery and Jackson have earned a place in my top couples list. I loved how both are very alpha male ad how opposites seemed to attract here. Both are strong, ruthless men but stand up to what they feel is right and fight hard for those they love.  I liked how Amy used the ugly cat to add a touch of humor( and the fish analogy)and the cat to show Jackson's vulnerability.

I loved the mystery, the suspense. Heck I loved everything about the story. I was shocked that it was a sort of cliffhanger and I would love to know when we will get more. Hurry up Amy! Please!

If you like friend to lovers, office romance, mystery/suspense, police corruption, sexy PI's Hot Lawyers, bisexual men, cats, and scorching ht romance I highly recommend this!

Amy Lane dodges an EDJ, mothers four children, and writes the occasional book. She, her brood, and her beloved mate, Mack, live in a crumbling mortgage in Citrus Heights, California, which is riddled with spiders, cats, and more than its share of fancy and weirdness. #TTCAOTM Lake Eerie Shifters series by @vllocey | Spotlight w/Cat's Reviews & #giveaway #mmromance @LGBTReads

July Author of the Month here at TTC Books is VL Locey!

Who doesn't like an Eerie story? A short, sexy little novella that causes goose bumps and makes you want to sleep with the lights on. Let's just see what Cat has to say about Locey's Eerie series of novellas, Lake Eerie Shifters.

Book 1 - An Eerie Halloween <-- Amazon
Book 2 - An Eerie Operetta <-- Amazon
Book 3 - An Eerie Garden Party <-- Amazon

An Eerie Halloween - Cat's 5 Star Review

Templeton is a skunk shifter and works at Office for Transmogrification Registration (OTTER) as a desk jockey, checking registration papers. Mikel and the Erie pack work there as trackers. After an attempt on Templeton’s life, Mikel seems to appoint himself as Templeton’s protector.

This is a very fun, humorous and hot story with a bit of mystery and intrigue thrown in for good measure. I loved the playful banter between Templeton and the other characters. I laughed my butt of at the funny interjections and clichés of Templeton’s though and telling of the story. There was a lot going on and several twists and turns. I have to say the mystery did throw me of and I am pretty good at figuring them out pretty early. You just can’t help to laugh at the way he jokes about his scent and stuff. I was skeptical at first about a skunk shifter but it really worked.

If you’re looking for a different take on the paranormal, a slightly new world, lots of humor and some pretty hot, sensual ,mansex and just a good, sweet, funny, romantic mystery; I recommend this one.

An Eerie Garden Party - Cat's 5 Star Review

Templeton finds himself with his hands more than full this full moon wth is lover, the leader of the Eerie pack, a mysterious house guest with big secrets, his parents, planning a garden party, and murders popping up on the property.

If you have read any of the first books in this series you know that Templeton is a skunk shifter and mated to the alpha of the Lake Eerie pack. If not you know now! This is a very fun series to read so it is good to start at An Eerie Halloween, But I feel you can follow along just fine without it. But they are short and lots of fun so why not read them all!

I love all the characters in this book. I love how Rugby is always scaring Templeton by sneaking up on him. It made me laugh every time Templeton would jump! The mystery is like a little paranormal cozy...mysterious with lots of twist set in a paranormal setting with a touch of humor.

There is a lot of sex but it's well -written and not overly explicit. There are lots of twists and the story is fast paced with lots of humor. I highly recommend it!

V.L. Locey loves worn jeans, belly laughs, yoga, reading and writing lusty tales, walking, Greek mythology, the New York Rangers, comic books, and coffee. (Not necessarily in that order.)

She shares her life with her husband, her daughter, one dog, two cats, two Jersey steers, and a flock of assorted domestic fowl.

When not writing lusty tales, she can be found enjoying her day with her menagerie in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania, fresh cup of java in hand.

Ending and Beginnings (Collars and Cuffs series book 8) by @K_C_Wells & @ParkerWAuthor - Cat's Review #mmromance #BDSM @Dreamspinners

In all his relationships, Darren Fielding never found the level of intimacy he witnessed between Thomas Williams and his sub, Peter, the day of Peter’s “rebirth.” Not only that, he never realized such intimacy was possible. For two years, Thomas’s business card has been burning a hole in his wallet. When Darren’s lover moves on, maybe it’s finally time to see where that card takes him.

Collars & Cuffs’ new barman, JJ Taylor, is really conflicted right now. He went to the club with a very specific purpose, already convinced of what he’d find there. Except it’s not what he expected at all. He certainly didn’t anticipate finding himself drawn to the new wannabe Dom. Nor could he have guessed the direction that attraction would lead him.

Old love, new love, vows, pain, rage, moving in, moving on…. The members of Collars & Cuffs face an event that touches some of them deeply, but it will only reinforce what they already know: together they are stronger, and some bonds cannot be broken.

Cat gives this one 5 Meows with a 4 Purr heat index...

This is a book 8 of a series. It is noted best read in order as the characters are repeated throughout the series. I do agree, however, I am a backward kinda gal and read this one without having read all the series (I have read the first two)I followed along just fine. I will say I dnt know some of the things that were talked about and didnt know the characters mentioned full stories, but the authors did a great job of giving enough information that it was easy to pick up on.

Endings and beginnings ties up the stories of a few of the couples and is predominately JJ and Darren. JJ does tie in with older stories though i don't think he was actually in them.
JJ came to Collars and Cuffs to seek revenge and clear his father's name, thinking all the bad things from the trial had to be Peter's fault and the BDSM lifestyle.  Once he saw the activities of the club he found it nothing like the porn sites or what he thought. He found the couples very intriguing and himself wanting to be cherished and treated like some of these men.

Darren had witnessed some of the men from Collars and Cuffs at his shop and was intrigued. He wanted a relationship like Peter and Thomas. The way they looked at each other. He had recently had a breakup  and knew  he wanted more than a vanilla lifestyle. When he  went t Collars and Cuffs to look around he found himself immediately intrigued by JJ.

There is a lot going on in this story as it does wrap up a couple of the other couples and has a lot on JJ and Darren. even with so many views, and storylines the story flowed smoothly, had lots of backstory to keep new readers interested and old readers refreshed. I really liked how the authors showed that BDSM is more than porn and there are so many different forms of it. Each couple has their own D's relationship in this story or form of it and it works for them.  There is  a  touch of suspense and lots of  the tie-ups of the relationships had me going awe!!!   I do hope the ending  is  a hint of a new series. I can't wait for more!

If you like BDSM, loving couples, some hot man-sex and a very great series I highly recommend this one!

Solitary mystery writer Julian Wilkes doesn’t want a pet, but his sister persuades him to visit Lingwood Animal Rescue, where he is immediately taken with a large ginger tabby cat. Before he can settle into the joys of cat ownership, however, he discovers something very unusual about his new companion.

Macavity Birch is cursed. By day he is a large tabby cat. At night he can be himself—a human male with ginger hair and oddly yellow eyes. He didn’t mean to end up in the animal rescue, but he never meant any harm when playing the prank that resulted in his curse, either. Happily, Julian adopts him. But while exploring his host’s home, he discovers the diary of a long-dead relative.

Unfortunately, not all of Mac’s ancestors are dead and buried. His great-great-great-grandmother is very much alive, and she’s a powerful witch who doesn’t take kindly to the sharing of family secrets. When Mac reveals himself to Julian in order to save him from bigger trouble, he achieves just the opposite, plunging Julian deeper into a magical mystery with him.

Cat gives this one 4 Meows  with a 2 Purr heat index...

Julian is an introverted author. He is wallowing in an old break-up and for the last couple of years hasn't even wrote.  His sister takes him to a shelter to adopt a dog hoping this will get him out of the house and perhaps meet people. However, he is intrigued by large, yellow cat and takes him home instead. He is intrigued by the cat and how he seems to understand Julian.

Julian is a cat shifter and has been able to shift since the age of 13. he also loves playing pranks and that has gotten him cursed by his witch relative. Now he can only change into a human at night. He finds himself in a humane shelter, then luckily adopted by Julian. He planned to shift the first night and escape, but the way Julian cared so much for the large cat kept Julian hanging around.

I absolutely loved this story. Both Julian, Mac, and Mac in cat form are such fun, compelling characters.  We get the story in all three views and I loved that we got the cat's view too. I am a cat lover and I can see my cat in Mac's view. The story is charming, well-written and an allover fun, sexy romance. There is a twist of a secret journal and witches tossed in as well. I would have liked seeing more of this twist in the story or maybe another book  with all of these characters since there was a view question's not answered.

If you like cats. shifters, witches, writers, men that are not perfect, A fun, charming, sexy romance this is a must read.
If aliens ever do land on Earth, Kelly will not be prepared, despite having read over a hundred stories of the apocalypse. Still, she will pack her precious books into a box and carry them with her as she strives to survive. It’s what bibliophiles do.

Kelly is the author of a number of novels, novellas and short stories, including the Chaos Station series, co-written with Jenn Burke. A lot of what she writes is speculative in nature, but sometimes it’s just about a guy losing his socks and/or burning dinner. Because life isn’t all conquering aliens and mountain peaks. Victor Dimir moved to America with his traditional Romanian parents when he was just a child. His Romani parents taught him their traditions and how to be a shrewd business man. But it was the attention of a classmate at school that taught a teenage Victor about his sexuality. When he came out to his parents he knew it would be difficult for them to understand, but he never expected them to disown him.

Andrew Jones grew up with a single mom and his grandmother teaching him about life, he had an absentee father at best. The only thing the man ever did for Andy that stuck was buy him a camera for his thirteenth birthday. When Andrew went off to college on a scholarship to study photo journalism, he wound up falling in love with his Romanian roommate.

They became inseparable and wound up starting their own business together; a gay porn website where people could go and watch romantic gay porn instead of the rough and tough, or wham bam thank you man crap that was flooding the internet at that time. After ten years together they were still perfectly happy, they didn’t even realize something was missing, until they met a broken young man that needed a family.

Matthew Carlson was homeless, jobless and broken. He’d been on his own since he was sixteen when he ran away from home after being brutally assaulted by several other young men that he thought were his friends, and then being told he brought it on himself for being gay by his parents. Matthew has done a lot of things these last few years just to get by. When he finds the flyer for All Cocks, he decides to call and see where it leads. What has he got to lose?

Matthew has deep rooted scars that aren’t usually visible on the outside. But when he walks into All Cocks, both Victor and Andrew see them, they also see him. Can three men that didn’t even realize they needed each other get past the stigma of society to find a place of happiness, together?
