Happy Holidays and welcome to the TTC Books and more 12 Days of Giveaways Event!
I've teamed up with 12 amazing Authors to put together 12 days of fun that will include promos, spotlights, reviews, special Christmas guest posts and... giveaways! Each day starting today and going through December 23rd will spotlight a different Author, and each Author is offering up a giveaway on their day. You could win e-books, giftcards, swag and more. For day 9 let's say hello to Dirk Greyson and his sexy little Christmas short, An Assassin's Holiday (a Story from the Dreamspinner 2015 Advent calender - Sleigh Ride)

Brick Colton has been hired to kill Santa Claus—or at least the kindhearted accountant playing Santa for the kids in an orphanage. Brick grew up in an orphanage himself, but that isn’t the only thing bothering him about the contract on Robin Marvington’s life. The details don’t add up, and it’s looking more and more like someone has set Robin up. As Brick investigates, Robin brings some much-needed cheer into his life, the light in Robin’s soul reaching something in Brick’s dark one. But all of that will end if they can’t find the person who wants Robin dead.
Brick Colton has taken a lifetime of pain and loneliness and a career in the military and made himself into a top notch assassin. He is good at his job, but always takes care to make sure no innocents are caught in the crossfire. An assassin with a conscious you might say. So Brick has more than a few questions when he is hired to kill an Accountant that spends his nights playing Santa Claus for orphans.
Robin Marvington’s life is so dreary that when Brick shows up at his door with news that he has been hired to kill him, Robin would probably accept the bullet for breakfast. Together, the two of them set out to find out who wants Robin dead, and why. Somewhere along the way the lines between would be target and killer blur, and the two become lovers. Yes, you guessed it, this cannot end well.
Oh happy day! I just loved every little thing about this book. Two men, total opposites, drawn into each other’s lives like magnets. The push and pull was like watching a tennis match and Robin gave his big, burly, former almost killer turned bodyguard and possible companion just as good as he got. I was so engrossed in this story that when I read ‘the end’ I shrieked. I did not want it to end. There is the mystery aspect… who hired Brick, and why? Some suspense… will they figure it out before whomever it was figures out that Brick isn’t following through, and hires someone else? Oh and the Alpha male alert… Brick is sex on a stick, I’m just saying.
If you are looking for a great Holiday read that isn’t all hearts and flowers, carolers singing out in the snow, then this is the story for you. Fast paced and intense, well written and well worth a read.
- Guest Post with Author Dirk Greyson...
Christmas at my house is always an early December thing. We usually spend the holiday with my family which means a little travel. So the big event at my home is our Holiday Open House. Dominic cooks and bakes up a storm and we throw open the doors and invite all our friends to partake of some Christmas cheer, delectable bites, and some warm holiday conversation. I always have a fire in the fireplace, the trees are all up and glowing, and the room sparkle with decoration. It’s a wonderful time of year and a highlight of the holiday season for us. After the party it turns quiet again until the holiday gets closer and then we ramp up for visiting family.

Dirk is very much an outside kind of man. He loves travel and seeing new things.
Dirk worked in corporate America for way too long and now spends his days writing, gardening, and taking care of the home he shares with his partner of more than two decades.
He has a Master’s Degree and all the other accessories that go with a corporate job. But he is most proud of the stories he tells and the life he's built.
Dirk lives in Pennsylvania in a century old home and is blessed with an amazing circle of friends.
