I thought this was a good short summer romance story. I loved the characters and the storyline. I really loved having two of my favorite narrators narrate this story. That was a double bonus!

Cameron was on a vacation to clear his head after a bad breakup. He meets a sexy man that is keeping his identity pretty secret but part of the fun was trying to figure out the mysterious man. by the time he does he has feelings and doesn't want this vacation to end. but he can't give up his life to go traipsing off on tour with a man he just met. I found this a pretty good rock star story.

What happens when an out-and-proud bear moves to a small Tennessee town and takes a shine to the closeted cop? Fireworks, that’s what.

When Del Walters agrees to go into business with his brother, he has one condition. Since he’s putting up the lion’s share, they’ll run the bike shop his way - and that means he gets to choose the name. And in a small Tennessee town, a business called Rainbow Racers, complete with a not-so-subtle sign, was always going to attract attention. Unfortunately, it’s the wrong kind of attention, and after a few incidents, Del is forced to call on the local police to deal with the culprits.

When Officer Taylor Cox walks into his shop, Del thinks Christmas has come early. An earlier encounter with the younger man left Del with a growing desire to know more about him. There’s only one problem - Taylor is in the closet, and there’s no way Del is going back into his.

When Taylor lays eyes on the sexy bear who owns the bike shop, he knows he’s walking into trouble. Not that he’s about to let Del know he’s interested: His view from the closet is just fine, thank you very much, and besides, that ship has already sailed, thanks to their first meeting. Now all he wants to do is forget Del even exists. But as time goes by, Taylor realizes how badly he is torn between protecting the persona he’s created, and giving in to his desires. And Del making it obvious that he wants Taylor isn’t helping matters.

Between an out-and-proud bear and a firmly closeted cop, something has to give. Problem is, it might be their hearts.

This is book two in the series but stands alone perfectly. We met Taylor in Book one Truth and Betrayal as he became friends with Jake. Taylor knows he is gay but feels he is stuck hiding. He came back to be near his aging mother but there is nothing for him in this town as there is a lot of bigotry. Then he meets out and proud Del and as the story goes on he finds there are more people that are nicer than he thinks but still he doesn't have the urge to come out. But will his feeling for Del overpower the need to stay in the closet?

Del is out and proud. he left a bad relationship and came to this town to help his brother open a motorcycle shop. After it is established and in the black well, he plans to go back to his old life in California since this is a very bigoted and homophobic town. until he meets a sexy cop that might be worth staying for id he can dig him out of the closet he is hiding in.
This is a remarkably interesting book with a deep story and well-developed characters.  I really thought we would see more of Liam and Jake, but we only got a small cameo.  I liked the storylines, there is a lot of feels.

I do recommend the audio. John Solo gave the story a lot of power. He brought the story to life with voice and the way he shows excitement and pain.

If you like closeted men, firsts, large, age gaps, and some hot man-sex you will love this book.

All the light went out of Jake’s life when his older brother Caleb died in a traffic accident. Getting through the aftermath was always going to be the hardest thing he’d ever done, but finding out that the tall stranger at the graveside was the one driving the car? At least Jake now has a target for all the rage inside him. Because the man responsible for stealing Caleb’s light from the world has no right to intrude on their grief.

Liam had known deep down that it was a mistake to go to Tennessee, but he’d hoped saying good-bye to Caleb would ease the pain inside him. The hostile reception from Caleb’s family and friends comes as no surprise, and Liam flees before things get ugly. They obviously know nothing of Caleb’s life in Atlanta, and maybe it’s better that way. Caleb’s secrets can die with him.

When Jake turns up at Caleb’s apartment to collect his brother’s possessions, what he discovers is the first shock in what is to be a series of revelations, turning Jake’s world upside down. New knowledge brings fresh pain and anguish.

Jake isn’t the only one who’s hurting....

Jake is stuck in a town that has lots of prejudice. the only person he can talk t is miles away and hasn't been coming around. then one day he receives the devastating news that his brother was killed in a bad car wreck. He is sent to collect his rother's things to find his brother had more than one secret he was hiding.

Jake has to deal with his feelings and then meets Liam and finds out he is part of a deeper secret of his brother.

This was such a beautifully written heart-wrenching story. A lot is going on as we watch Jake grow up and grow into his sexuality. It is a story of love, hurt/comfort, firsts, and interracial romance.

John Solo takes this story to another level with his soft voice and the way he inflicts all the excitement. I highly recommend the audio if you can get it.
this as well

Finding Forever With You (The Malone Brothers Book #4) by S.L. Sterling Release blitz & #giveaway @EJBookPromos

Title: Finding Forever With You
Series: The Malone Brothers Book #4
Author: S.L. Sterling
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: May 29, 2020
My best friend Sophie was gorgeous, at times uptight and desperate.
Her biological clock was ticking and after yet another failed relationship she pulled me aside.
"Listen Chase, you know I adore you and you know I need you. Historically, you always come through for me." She swallowed hard while I listened. "It's no secret that I want a baby, the semi old fashioned way."
I nodded not really believing what I was hearing.
"I want you to do it."
"You want my swimmers?"
"Yes, through natural injection."
Sex with my best friend. The best friend I had once upon a time wanted in a bad way.
"Don't worry, I've got this covered," I assured her. She looked relieved and maybe even a little excited.
Seven Days, Six nights, and lots of sex. What more could I want?
Oh right. A way to turn this into forever so I could raise my child too.
"You know I adore you, right?" her soft voice questioned.
I looked up at her, pausing from cutting the loaf of bread. "Yes, of course, and I you." I winked, trying to lighten the mood, but she completely ignored me.
"And you know I'm not getting any younger, right?"
I frowned. "Neither am I."
"And historically you've always come through for me." She swallowed hard, setting her bread down on the side plate. "No matter what."
"Okay, let’s cut to the goods here, Soph. What's going on? Are you okay? Are you sick? In legal trouble?" The way she was carrying on, I feared she had some sort of terminal illness.
I proceeded to cut more slices off the loaf of bread.
"Well, it’s just I want a baby, and I want you to be the father," she blurted out.

Title: The Man Next Door
Author: Roya Carmen
Genre: Romance Suspense
Release Date: May 21, 2020

I was just a girl, a young neglected girl with issues. I was a mess. A mess he wanted nothing to do with. He knew better. But I certainly didn’t. All I knew was that I liked what I saw.
I grew up in small town Michigan, raised by a single alcoholic father and two older brothers who never gave me the time of day. All I had were my best friends, Izzie and Gavin, a reclusive broken man, ten years my senior. My father forbade me to see him, but I didn’t listen. I was crazy about him and he adored me. Even when our small community was rocked by a heinous crime and Gavin was the main suspect, I still loved him.
When tragedy struck, I finally escaped. As far away as I could.
I’ve been in Chicago ever since, trying to forget all about my past. Yet, I find myself still thinking about my past, about Gavin and Izzie, about my other life. I’m not truly living anymore, just going through the motions. Until…
Noah Reed. My new neighbor. Beautiful, sweet and intoxicating. There’s something about him I just can’t put my finger on. He’s the first man since Gavin I truly let myself fall for. I think he might be the one. Until…
… the day I discover his secret.

“I absolutely loved 'The Man Next Door'. It is a fantastic story and really original.” - Louise
“Wow! This was steamier than I thought it would be.” - Angela
“I couldn't put it down. You outdid yourself. The characters and story are perfectly developed, all of them, from main characters to supporting characters. This is the best one you have written so far.” - Melissa
