I can’t think of a word good enough to say just how good this was. Holy cow! Fabulous doesn’t get close!

The naming alone of characters was brilliant. I can’t imagine the thought and research setting this up to fit in with Bible characters and stories some of us were raised on.  

The storyline was intriguing and my oh my at the plot twists. There is lots of action and it’s a page turner. I devoured this book to see what would happen next.

Cain was such a great character to love to hate. I love a good antihero especially the way he redeemed himself. Wow! 

If you like angels and demons and a unique take on bible stories and characters you will love this. Now bring on Lucien. I can’t wait till winter!

I’m not sure if this needs read in order or not. I’m thinking if I had I may have gotten a better understanding of the characters and the relationship between Mark and Autumn.

I’m going with my couple issues first. It’s cute 4 of the girls have the season names but that kinda threw me as they were not related and aren’t like best friends, just work buddies, so to me it was a stretch they’d be four seasons on the same job.  Then for so many to be friends no one really knew anything about Autumn such as her being married to a famous football player snd having a child. Both would be hard to keep a secret if they’ve worked together long. Then there was all the dream sequences not in italics so I wasn’t sure they were dreams until someone woke her and then they weren’t events that had happened.  All this slowed me down reading as I’d have to reread a bit to see what I missed.

Now having said this… the characters are interesting snd the story had a lot of promise. I did like the plot and the romance between Mark and Autumn. And Abby was adorable,

So if you like secret agents, intriguing women an age gap romance and cute kid. You will like this.
