***The series must be read in order

Cat gives this Book 4 Meows with a 3 Purr heat index...

Hi Y’all! Come in and grab a burger and a cold drink while I tell you about this book I just read.

The title is Wild Child by Jessica Myel, it is book 3 in the Wild series. You do need to read in order as there is a recurring overall mystery. The cover is interesting and goes well with the title. Then I read the blurb and it really got my interest because... cowboys, cowgirl, fake dating and mystery? Yes please.

The story is a romance with some suspense.

Who’s my favorite main character? Knox, of course. Sexy, cocky bull rider.

There are several twists and the story is very interesting. My only issues were it’s very long and it’s a little repetitive and wordy. Tightened up it would be a solid 5 Meows.

I loved the ending, it was an HEA with a cliffhanger. But, I myself, like continuing series and love a good cliffhanger it just makes me want the next book that much more. Bring it on!

If you like bull riders, cow girls, fake dating, a touch of mystery/suspense and a great redemption romance with a little heat, you will love this.

★★★★★ Amazon Review - “Obviously another amazing book in the OPS series. Clearly, readers can't go wrong by picking anything written by Giulia. Full of drama, super steamy scenes and the amazing characters that make up this hilarious group of protectors this book has it all.”

★★★★★ Amazon Review - “Wish we had a 10 star option! These books are so great. Another awesome book for this collection. These books always guarantee laughs and action. Never disappointed when I read them.”

I never should have grown out my hair.

That’s where this whole thing started.
I was too rigid. Too organized.
And nobody failed to point that out to me.

So, I grew my hair out to prove them wrong.

Now I had a fake career as a model,
all in the name of keeping a woman named Juliette safe.
I knew I would end up regretting this job.
And it wasn’t just because I didn’t know the first thing about modeling.

That seemed to handle itself every time I looked at her in front of the camera.

We were too dissimilar.
I liked healthy food, and she ate cereal right out of the box.
I liked a schedule, and she woke up late every damn day.
I was tall, and she could fit in my pocket.

Well, they weren’t great excuses, but they were all mine.

But she didn’t know the real me.
Hell, I lied to her every second of the day just to keep her by my side.
The threat against her was real.

But so was the fact that I was falling hard for her.

Hi Y’all! Come in and grab something. I picked up lots from Mickey D and extra hash browns and coffee both sweet and black, while I tell you about this book I just read.

The title is Self Licking Ice Cream Cone by Giulia Lagomarsino and it is book 12 in The Owens Protective Services, or OPS, series. You do have to read in order to fully understand. There is an underlying storyline.

The cover is oh so delicious and goes well with the title. Then I read the blurb and it really got my interest because fake model, bodyguard, opposites attract.

Who’s my favorite main character? Lock.  Was there another character I loved ? Fox if you’ve read the series you know why. Just in case you haven’t… you should just for Fox… a crazy, Funyun, shawarma eating, knife throwing psychopath on the right side.

The story is a romantic suspense with plenty humor.

What surprised me most about the book was? Not as much drama as the others.

Still it was really good with some twists and turns.

I loved the ending. It was HEA with a twist! Now bring on the next one!

How hot was the book? Wow!

If you like protectors, ex-military men, models, opposites attract, humor and some hot sex and continuing series you will love this book.

I wheezed in a breath. “She kicked me in the balls.”

His feet came into view as he bent down in front of me. The sympathy on his face was clear as day. So, I wasn’t alone. Maybe some woman kicked him in the balls before too. “Damn, are you gonna be okay?”

“You’re asking him if he’s going to be okay?” Juliette shrieked. “He was standing over me in my bedroom!”

He nodded in understanding. “Yeah, it happened to me once. Not the same situation, but she was wearing heels. Trust me, you got off easy.”

I believed him.

“I said she was beautiful, and she took offense to that. Apparently, she was one of those enlightened women that doesn’t like compliments on her looks. I’ve never said it to another woman.”

“Understandable,” I wheezed out.

“You want a hand up?”

I shook my head. “I’m good down here.”

“I can’t believe this!” Juliette snapped. “He attacked me and you’re taking his side?”

“Did he really attack you?” Andrew asked as he stood.

“Well…no, but you don’t know what he would have done if I hadn’t woken up!”

“Juliette, it’s time to leave. Is it possible that he was coming to wake you up and you were laying there naked?”

I peeked up to see her jaw hang open as she struggled to come up with a response. Okay, it wasn’t exactly how it happened, but close enough. I didn’t take off her towel. Okay, last night I snuck a peek, but that was last night. This morning, she rolled over all on her own. Her breasts were out and I struggled to look away. Any guy would. It was a fact of life that if breasts were out, a guy was going to look. It was like a train wreck. You knew you should look away, but you wanted to see the damage. Or, in the case of breasts, the beauty of them peeking up at you.

“Just go get dressed so we can leave,” Andrew sighed.

As she stormed out of the room, Andrew bent over and his face turned serious. “Still thinking about her breasts?”

I shook my head.

“Good. I would hate to have to kick another man in the balls.”

I'm a stay at home mom that loves to read. Some of my favorite titles are Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Horatio Hornblower. I started writing when I was trying to come up with suggestions on ways I could help bring in some extra money. I came up with the idea that I could donate plasma because you could earn an extra $500/month. My husband responded with, "No. Find something else. Write a blog. Write a book." I didn't think I had anything to share on blog that a thousand other mothers hadn't already thought of. I decided to take his challenge seriously and sat down to write my first book, Jack. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed writing. From there, the stories continued to flow and I haven't been able to stop. I hope my readers enjoy my books as much as I enjoy writing them. Between reading, writing, and taking care of three small kids, my days are quite full.
