The title is Dragged to the Wedding by Andrew Grey.
The cover is a generic and doesn't give much away. Then I read the blurb and it really got my interest because tough cop having Togo to sister's wedding and doesn't. Want his family to know he's gay. He has to have a date. In comes Daniel/Daniella/Lala Travianta, one of Chicago s best up and coming Drag queens. Sounds like fun.
Who’s my favorite main character? Daniel/Daniella. I loved her sass but strength. How she was able to fix all the things cropping up.
Was there another character I loved and why? I think both Holly and Margot, James; sisters.
The story has a few settings mostly I'm Missoula Montana but in the church, a dance studio, and several other places. The story is a romantic comedy, but does have some drama too.
Were there significant plot twists and turns? There are several twists and plenty of turns, this was very different than most Andrew Grey books but just as good. It had more humor but still all the warm feels you expect.
I loved the ending. It was HEA and the epilogue was super cute.
If you like romantic comedy, drag queens, coming out, forced proximity, opposite attract, fake date, men in uniform, and an allover fun romance you will love this.

The last person emergency responder Cade Elmhurst expects to meet at an accident scene is his old high school crush. Cade always regretted keeping his feelings to himself. That Selby remembers Cade is a bigger surprise. He even seems to share Cade’s long-buried feelings and flirts with him on the ride to the hospital, but that may just be the concussion talking.

Meeting Cade again is a spot of warmth in his otherwise cold life. He’s as nice as Selby remembers, even offering a ride home from the hospital and help dealing with his wrecked car. On top of that, the heat between them means Cade might return Selby’s long-simmering attraction.
Everything changes in an instant when Selby’s family home burns to the ground, leaving his father hospitalized and his four siblings in need of a place to live. Once again, Selby figures he’ll find himself standing alone, but to his surprise, Cade stands with him. Their budding relationship is going to have to withstand four younger kids in a small apartment, social workers with differing opinions, and his father’s closed-minded stubbornness to make the most of their second chance.
This is a sweet, fast-moving romance with low, mostly off page, heat.
The story was awesome with all the feels we expect from Andrew Grey.
There's plenty tension yet not too much to bring you down.
I loved both Cade and Selby and the kids were a nice touch.
I really like any type of Men in uniform, including paramedics, so if you want a great first responder with all the feels. This is it.

The title is Bite the Bullet by Guilia Lagomarsino and it is book 16 in the OPS series. You should read in order as most books pick up from the last or occur along the last. They all have recurring characters and there is a series plot that goes through most books.
The cover is oh so sexy and then I read the blurb and it really got my interest because we are finally getting Jack's story and I've been dying for it. For those that haven't read, Jack is one of the three J's (that's their team name) also these three are Rafe's mercenaries but work with Cash too. Jack's been on a job that got him addicted, in prison now watching an arms dealers' son that's nothing but trouble.
Who’s my favorite main character? I liked both Jack and Skylar. Skylar is sweet but tough and in a bad situation.
Was there another character I loved and why? Actually, yes. Of course Rae, Fox and the other OPS guys but, I loved Pete. Yep, Pete needs a story.
The story is a romantic suspense with a slight touch of humor.
Were there significant plot twists and turns? As always there are lots of twists. A couple shocking ones leaving us really wondering about Rafe. But that one's like a yoyo... Is he good, is he bad...he's just Rafe. There are twist all the way to the end.
One thing I like about this series each book is so unique. Some are crazy fun and pure humor some more sexy some a mix. This one was more serious with just enough humor to lighten it some. Also, surprisingly there wasn't on page sex which is unusual, but I liked more story.
And we had a cute kid.
I liked the ending. It was an HEA and tied this story up pretty well. Of course there still is plenty ongoing and hopefully we haven't seen the end of Jack.
If you like protector romance, bad boys a little humor and lots of twists you will love this book.
There are … trigger warnings mentioned so if torture, drug addiction, talk of suicide (off page) and child abduction bothers you, skip this one or read with caution.
I'm a stay at home mom that loves to read. Some of my favorite titles are Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Horatio Hornblower. I started writing when I was trying to come up with suggestions on ways I could help bring in some extra money. I came up with the idea that I could donate plasma because you could earn an extra $500/month. My husband responded with, "No. Find something else. Write a blog. Write a book." I didn't think I had anything to share on blog that a thousand other mothers hadn't already thought of. I decided to take his challenge seriously and sat down to write my first book, Jack. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed writing. From there, the stories continued to flow and I haven't been able to stop. I hope my readers enjoy my books as much as I enjoy writing them. Between reading, writing, and taking care of three small kids, my days are quite full.

The title is Hot Mess Prince by Emily Spady. The cover is really cute, and then I read the blurb and it really got my interest because... A prince out of control, in control personal assistance. Yeah, this screams boss, coworker, and opposites attract, just for starters.
Who’s my favorite main character? Well hard to choose between Tibs and Batra. They are both wonderful characters and so different. I love the bad boy prince with his looks and don't care attitude then the out together Batra that has to fix the princes' image.
The story has several settings. The main one the palace, but we get a good tour of the princes' country as they set out trying to fix his image going to different place like a cat shelter, chocolate factory, vineyard, etc . I especially lived the apple orchard and wild ponies.
The story is an MM romance and you could even say light romance com with some of the princes' antics plus the things he drives poor Batra into.
Were there significant plot twists and turns? Yes, there were some twists as the prince grows up you could say (not physically he is 33 and the story takes place over a couple months span but maturity wise).
The story was fun, interesting and fabulous, then we got to the end and it let me down ever so slightly. Yes, it's a good HEA but it was rushed. We got the last chapter then skip a few months to the epilogue which was the end. In my opinion the last chapter needed a little fleshing out and lead right into the epilogue as a last chapter. I felt there was a little loose string, but, having said that, this the story is so good, and fun.
I highly recommend If you like princes, personal assistant, opposite attract, coming out, good scenery, plus a bit of heat this is for you.

“I don’t have a car.” Three years working for the prince, and the man knew nothing about him. Typical. “I rode my bicycle.”
“Of course you did. Doing your duty, right? Protecting the environment and all that.” Thibault had a smug little smile on his face, like Neel had completely failed to surprise him. “Doesn’t it ever get tiring?”
“What gets tiring is lack of sleep. Which is why I’m leaving now,” Neel said, making no move to get up.
“Stay here for a bit. Have a drink with me. I’ll get Viola to drive you home if you’re worried about biking under the influence.”
“Absolutely not. You shouldn’t be out here, either.” Neel pointed a finger at him across the hot tub. “We’re starting your twelve-step plan or whatever it is tomorrow and you need your sleep, too. More than I do. You’ll be the one in the photos, and we can’t have you looking all gray and hungover.”
Thibault shrugged. His chest was flushed from the heat, his hair curling into his eyes. “Honestly? I couldn’t sleep either. I’m… I’m trying to take this seriously, Batra. Whether you believe me or not. And it’s making me nervous.” He poured a refill into the glass and held it out. “Come on. One drink. Just stay and… talk to me. Until I feel sleepy.”
The glass was sweaty with condensation as Neel took it from his hand. “I’m only drinking this so that you won’t,” he warned, and finished it in one gulp, before he could have any foolish thoughts about how Thibault’s mouth had been on the glass, his pink, pouty, irritating mouth–
“You, er,” said Thibault.
“We’ve all been to university, your highness,” Neel said archly.
“Yes, but you probably weren’t shooting 100-year Ankenbrandian pear brandy.”
Neel shrugged, feeling the red bloom of alcohol in his stomach, the tension beginning to seep out of his shoulders, his neck. “So, I’m to tell you a bedtime story now, is that it? Don’t recall it being part of my job description. But who knows what my job is at this point.”
Thibault took a swig from the bottle, then refilled Neel’s glass. “I guess I was just hoping that you had some plan for tomorrow. You’re so good at plans.”
Neel really ought to sip this one slowly, but he was enjoying how the over-excited clock in his head had finally started to tick down, and the stars were bright overhead and the mountains gleamed in the distance and Prince Thibault was glistening across from him like some male siren that had just emerged from the Aegean sea, and it was time, wasn’t it, that Neel told him exactly what he thought about all of this nonsense?
“You are the one who came up with all of this. There is no plan. You’re petting kittens, for fucksake.”
“Right, but, what should I wear?”
Neel waved his hand in the air dismissively. “Something casual but expensive that shows off your chest. Do you really need me to tell you all this? Just pet the kittens and look cute. Why did you choose all of these things if you don’t even want to do them?”
Thibault ran a hand through his hair. “Well, I knew I needed to tell grandmother something. And they are things I wanted to do. Most of them. Some I chose because I knew they’d annoy you.”
“I thought so. Pour me another drink.”
“You sure you’re going to be all right? The water’s really hot, and you’ve had like four shots. I’m a heavy pourer.”
“You owe me, Thibault.”
The prince slid across the hot tub, and Neel flinched at the sudden hand on his forehead. “Hm, yeah, I don’t think so,” Thibault murmured. “You’re really warm.”
“Don’t pretend you care,” Neel said, holding himself as still as possible so he wouldn’t melt. “Don’t pretend to be responsible.”
“I’m not,” Thibault said. “But you are, and you’re going to be hating yourself if you’re too hungover to get a perfectly adorable picture of me and those cats tomorrow. C’mon, Batra, let’s get you up.” He hoisted Neel onto his feet. “Out we go. We’ve got a date with some baby kittens.”
“‘Baby kittens’ is redundant,” Neel said, and fainted.
