Cat gives this book 5 meows...

This is a fun, fluffy, slow burn romance featuring a curvy BBW and a handsome athletic man with anxiety disorder.

Alyssa has been in love with Nick since high school but never said anything keeping him as a best friend. When she receives an invitation to his wedding to his on and off again high school sweetheart, she doesn't want to face the reality of only being his best friend.

He roommate and female best friend  suggests she take her brother that recently moved to New York as her plus one. He needed a plus one to one of his teammates wedding so they made a plus one pact and became fast friends.

I loved this story as it gave off My Best Friend's Wedding (my favorite movie) vibes but with a twist.

The characters are all charming, the story sweet and funny.

If you like a good romcom, Friend's to lovers, class differences (he's wealthy she was really poor raised) , best Friend's brother, forced proximity, sort of fake boyfriend, slow burn, and a good clean romance this is for you.

Suzy Langevin loves love, even though she forgot how to say it in Latin when she was a contestant on Jeopardy! And she channels that love into writing happy ever afters where people are loved because of, not in spite of, the things they see as their flaws. She is the winner of the 2024 RWA Golden Heart Award, and her short fiction has been featured in several anthologies and magazines. Suzy lives and writes in central Massachusetts, and does, in fact, run on Dunkin'. A demanding chef and a straight former soldier: Taking orders has never been so hot!

Veteran and bar manager Tyler Hewitt has too much on his plate. His old Army buddy is hanging on by a thread, his father is recovering from surgery, and he’s temporarily running the Hawk Point Tavern while the owner is away.

Chef Donovan Ryan is always the one in charge—in the kitchen and in the bedroom. So it doesn’t sit well when he has to answer to Tyler. They’ve always butted heads, but without a buffer, the tension has never been higher.

Until one night when their sparks go up in flames.

Tyler is sure he’s only into kink if he’s the one dishing it out, but Donovan’s control leaves him hungry for more.

Hooking up is one thing. Love is another.

Can Tyler embrace taking orders from a civilian, or will Donovan have to give up his dream of a collared submissive to keep the man he loves?

Made to Order includes: hot tempers, CBT, breath play, kinky kitchen implements, and nosy grandmothers.

Cat gives this Audiobook 4 Meows...

This is book 3 in the Naughty in Pendleton series but stands alone well.

I really enjoyed the narration it gave the characters more depth and added excitement to the story.

I liked the characters and that both men were bossy. It made it harder to guess where the story would go.

If you like enemies to lovers, men with hot tempers and nosey grandmothers, ex-military men, sexy chefs, gay for you (bi awakening) BDSM including CBT, breath play and kinky kitchen implements, this is for you.

Brigham Vaughn is on the adventure of a lifetime as a full-time author. She devours books at an alarming rate and hasn't let her short arms and long torso stop her from doing yoga. She makes a killer key lime pie, hates green peppers, and loves wine tasting tours. A collector of vintage Nancy Drew books and green glassware, she enjoys poking around in antique shops and refinishing thrift store furniture. Cat's Review of The Influencer and The Introvert by RM Neill @r.m.neill_author @neonrainbowarcreviews @tammystwocents X- @TTCBooksandmore

I might be a successful social media influencer, but do I have the skills to draw Colt Beckworth away from Snow Creek Ranch?

Snow Creek Ranch, Colorado, is so far removed from my preferred city life that I wonder if I made a mistake coming here. No suits, crappy internet, and everyone knows the new guy in town immediately.

The scenery is nice, though. And by scenery, I mean the cowboys on the ranch. One cowboy in particular. Forget the majestic mountains and the serenity of Snow Creek; Colt Beckworth puts them both to shame with one perfectly timed smile.

He’s the tall, silent type. While not exactly a willing collaborator in terms of helping me do my job, his shy smiles and slightly awkward exchanges make it easy to like him, though. Especially when he takes the time to listen to me ramble about hashtags and photo filters when he has a million better things to do.

I didn’t come here looking for forever, but Snow Creek makes me believe I might have found it.

Can I influence the shy cowboy to take a risk with me when my contract is up?

Or am I leaving Snow Creek Ranch with my heart in pieces?

The Influencer and Introvert is a 52k word contemporary mm cowboy romance featuring opposites attract, forced proximity, city meets country, tests of friendship with cream soda, swooning by the river, nosy townspeople at paint night and a new found love of cigars and fly fishing. It is book 4 in the shared world of Snow Creek Ranch. Each book can be read as a standalone, so be sure to check out the entire series.

Cat gives this book 5 meows with a 3 purr heat index...

This is part of the Snow Creek World but stands alone fine.

Colt has worked on the ranch and lived in chance most his life...heck Chance is partly family. When he meets the influncer hired by Jesse to market the ranch it changes his life but will his heart be broken when He leaves?

I loved all the characters and loved how the town also became a character. I set on pins and needles wondering how this would work ot. I was surprised though at the ending.

If you like opposites attract, forced proximity, city meets country, tests of friendship with cream soda, swooning by the river, nosy townspeople, and fly fishing, you will absolutely love this.

I'm a wife, mom, animal lover and a hopeless romantic.

I want my stories to make you smile, swoon and snort laugh, but not necessarily in that order.

I hope I can be the author you turn to when you need a story to make you laugh, or add light to an otherwise dark day.

Coffee always wins, you can't change my mind.

Blurb

A brutal killer. An unwitting witness. A cop caught in the middle of a deadly pursuit.

Jude Kalvert is glad to be back in his home city and playing gigs around his favourite bars. Blyham is a dangerous place, and things seem only to have got worse in the time he’s been away. It’s not safe to be out alone at night, but when Jude runs into an old school friend after one of his shows, things don’t appear so bad after all.

Danyal Nadir has changed a lot since they knew each other. He’s a cop for one thing, newly appointed to act as liaison between the police and the LGBTQ+ community. And he’s come a long way from the shy, bullied kid Jude remembers from school. The adult Danyal is strong, confident and very attractive. Both men jump at the chance to get reacquainted.

But that first night is not as safe as it appears. Jude discovers that he’s one of the last people to have seen a murder victim alive. Soon the killer has Jude and Danyal in his sights. On the run and desperate, there’s no limit to what he’ll do. As their friendship turns to passion, their new beginning could be the end of them.

Reader advisory: This book contains scenes of violence, gore and murder, as well as homophobia and racial slurs.

Excerpt

The police officer was incredibly good looking. He appeared mixed race, maybe of South Asian heritage with a strong, stubbled jaw and cleft chin. The body beneath the dark uniform was finely shaped. He could almost be a stripper in a cop costume rather than the real thing.

But Jude knew better than to be distracted by a hot guy and maintained his guard.

The cops’ eyes narrowed as he came nearer.

“Jude?” he asked. “Jude Kalvert?” His accent was a blend of light Scottish with a strong inflection of North East England. “Jude Kalvert? It is you, right?”

There was something familiar that Jude couldn't quite place. Maybe they had met on a cruise sometime. He saw hundreds of new faces each week, and it wasn't always easy to remember them.

“Yes,” he said. The man seemed friendly enough, but he was still wary of the uniform.

The serious cop face was transformed by a beautiful smile. “I thought I recognised you. It's Danyal Nadir. I don't know if you remember me. We were at school together.”

Jude had hated school. As the only openly gay kid in his year, the school years had been a misery of bullying, slurs and abuse. He hadn't kept in touch with a single pupil from those days. Whenever anyone reached out to him on social media, he rejected the friend request. Twelve years since he last sat in a classroom, the trauma was still too raw.

Danyal Nadir. That name did ring a bell though.

He dug into his memory. Yes. A skinny kid who had transferred into his class when he had been around ten years old. They had never been friends but had bonded in a strange way because they were tormented by many of the same bullies. Jude for his odd looks, interest in theatre and later for his open sexuality. Danyal, for his mixed heritage- his mother was white-Scottish and his father Indian- and what was considered a strange accent.

Jesus, that school was a fucking cesspit. He prickled at the memory.

“Oh my God,” Jude said. He had to work hard to see anything of that timid kid in this strapping policeman. And yet it was there. In his eyes. And in the rare time he'd seen Danyal smile at school – the smile was the same. “You've changed so much.”

And you’re gorgeous.

A shy chuckle and Danyal’s eyes looked Jude over too, taking him all in. “So have you, but somehow I recognised you. When I saw you get out of the car, I was almost certain it was you.”

Jude felt a warmth spread over his face. Danyal was making him nervous. Not in the intimidating cop way he'd initially expected, but in the hot and bothered want-to-get-into-his-pants way. But no chance. This was Danyal Nadir. The wee kid from Blyham High.

“I didn't know you became a police officer.” Stupid comment. There was no reason he would. They hadn't seen each other in years.

“It's been a decade now. How about you? What are you up to?”

“I'm a singer. Just finished a gig tonight. I'm about to get some food before heading home.” Old acquaintance or not, he was not about to admit to his plan of visiting The Viaduct.

Danyal checked his watch. “Mind if I join you for ten minutes? I'm due a break and I'm parched.”

It was Jude's turn to smile widely. “I'd love it. I'm just heading around the corner.”

Rumor Has It (The Last Best Place for Love Book 6) by Giulia Lagomarsino Book tour with Cat's Review @giulialagomarsinoauthor @enticingjourney @tammystwocents X- @crzybookladyluv @EJBookPromos @TTCBooksandmore

Title: Rumor Has It
Series: The Last Best Place for Love Book 6
Author: Giulia Lagomarsino
Genre: Small Town Romance
Tropes: Opposites Attract; Sworn off relationships; Grumpy/Sunshine; Damsel in Distress; Friends with Benefits
Release Date: July 13, 2026

★★★★★ Goodreads Review - “If you like small-town chaos, stubborn idiots falling in love, enough tension to power an electrical grid, and a healthy sprinkle of "well... that escalated quickly," do yourself a favor and pick this one up.”

★★★★★ Goodreads Review - “Giulia Lagomarsino is wonderful at world-building. More importantly, she creates characters who are fully three-dimensional, and then she makes you fall in love with them.”

★★★★★ Goodreads Review - “Oh boy... another emotional roller coaster from Giulia! Rumor Has It has it all—thrills, humor, a swoony small-town romance, and plenty of chaos.”

The moment I laid eyes on her as she dangled from a string of Christmas lights from her roof, I knew I was in trouble.

Gorgeous eyes, adorable smile, and a tenacity that I found oddly charming.

And so freaking sexy.

No woman should have that much power over a man. Yet, whenever I found myself around her, I couldn’t contain the need to kiss her, devour her…make her mine.

But this town is known for interfering and causing problems in even the smallest situations, which is why this has to stay a secret.

Every kiss, every second spent in her presence has to be between the two of us.

And yet, unforeseen circumstances force me to put myself out there even when I desperately just want room to recover from my injuries and discover who I am again.

I’ve seen the way she looks at me.
I’ve felt the way she shudders in my arms.

Rumor Has It, this isn’t going to turn out like I planned.

Cat gives this book 4 meows with a 4 purr heat index...

This is book 6 in a series and best read in order.
This is Sam and Cassidy's story.

You just never know in this series who's story you are going to get when. I figured for sure this was Jeff but the way last book went I thought for sure Remi but it turned out to be Sam...Blake's oldest brother, the  retired boxer and Cassidy the bookstore owner.

It begins when Cassidy literally falls into Sam's arms... yep adorable meet cute... but if you've read any of Guilia Lagomarsino's books you will know you get humor and cute but definitely super b twisty so never assume anything and always expect loads of action with the twists and of course spice... yep very spicy.

I highly recommend.

★★★★★ Amazon Review for Hard Rock Bottom of Your Heart - “Some of her best writing…Holy cow, this book! I was immediately immersed in Murky Falls! I could not put this book down. I'm excited to read the rest of the series!”

★★★★★ Amazon Review for Real Good Man - “When the Grump Finds His Roots (and the Sunshine Refuses to Leave) …the kind of small-town romance that sneaks past your defenses with humor, heart, and a slow-burn love you didn’t see coming—but end up rooting for with your whole chest.”

★★★★★ Amazon Review for How Forever Feels - “Amazing! Felt like coming home again! Another fantastic book from Giulia! This story had it all, love, healing, and found family, not to mention the suspense of a 25 year old mystery to keep you guessing.”

★★★★★ Amazon Review for Shut Up and Kiss Me - “Amazing as always!!! What an adventure!!! It was fun, unpredictable, and full of emotion—exactly what I was hoping for and more. All in all, an easy 5 out of 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

★★★★★ Amazon Review for Foolish Pride - “Amazing…Quite a surprise ending. Oh my gosh. Another story that stays with you for a while. I thought we were moving right into the HEA, when it all went sideways. I need the next book NOW. Great writing from an amazing storyteller.”

I'm a stay at home mom that loves to read. Some of my favorite titles are Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Horatio Hornblower. I started writing when I was trying to come up with suggestions on ways I could help bring in some extra money. I came up with the idea that I could donate plasma because you could earn an extra $500/month. My husband responded with, "No. Find something else. Write a blog. Write a book." I didn't think I had anything to share on blog that a thousand other mothers hadn't already thought of. I decided to take his challenge seriously and sat down to write my first book, Jack. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed writing. From there, the stories continued to flow and I haven't been able to stop. I hope my readers enjoy my books as much as I enjoy writing them. Between reading, writing, and taking care of three small kids, my days are quite full.
