Like a sip of warm cocoa, this story is heart touching and soothing.
Not a lot of drama... yes what there is, is predictable. There is a lot of Lego building but it's ok. That makes it kind of different. I liked that the teacher was the big kind of scary looking guy.
If you're just looking for a simple sweet romance, it's definitely worth a read.

I felt this was a fabulous finale that tied up all loose strings had a few new characters, opened options for a book one of a spinoff (which is available now) had plenty action and twists plus just enough romance and heat. And some humor to boot.
It's a perfect combination of a great shifter story.
If you like Werewolves, unique worlds, established couples, romance and a touch of humor this is for you.

This is book 3 in a series. I think it stands alone ok but you will enjoy it more since we met Eli in the last book and it talks about the team culture.
I think this is my favorite of the series, you kind of get 3 books in one.
Noah and Eli found some letters, and they touch Noah so much he wants to find the player that wrote them 15 years ago. But they run into a wall... there was no Freddie 15 years ago. Oh, I didn't mention they were live letters and also Eli met and has been crushing on Noah for 15 years as well when Noah dated his sister.
So, there is a little fun mystery, an age gap, sisters ex, coaches' son (forgot to mention Noah is the coach's son) Eli having a slump and of course their budding romance which can be friends to lovers and the hockey.
The book grabs you from the beginning and holds you to the End. (and there's a bonus!) Its not just another hockey or spirts romance.
I have to say the author had all this in there and not one component outshine the other. It is a perfect blend so even if you're not a sport romance fan I highly recommend this.

Nolan checked his watch. Almost midnight. Damn, they’d shut the place down. He hadn’t done that since his university days.
“You can pay.” Eli slid the bill Nolan’s way. “Since you invited me.”
“Sure,” Nolan said, laughing as he stood. “Be right back.”
He’d invited Eli out tonight because Eli was the only person he knew in Burlington aside from his dad. He was friendly with a few of the Trailblazers—had even attended a Trailblazers event or two in the four seasons Dad had been head coach—but he didn’t know them enough to call them up to hang out.
Eli, though? Nolan didn’t know him well enough either, but he had been a familiar face from his past. Nolan hadn’t expected to enjoy getting to know him as someone other than Michelle’s little brother as much as he had. Hadn’t expected to have this much fun or to wish the night would last longer. Hadn’t expected an Eli who was both funny and smart and wiser than Nolan would’ve given him credit for.

Holy wow how can these books keep topping themselves! I will say you really should read in order for Maximum impact.
Im not going to do a rundown because any explanation would ne a spoiler for the past books.
So all im going to say is this is one of the best Vampire Series I've ever read. It gets top marks in originality, myster, suspense, romance, intrigued and top honor in twists.
Its also a mixture of inclusitivity where as several of the vampires are bisexual though in all three books the main romance is MF.
And oh its extremely dark though this one-third torture isn't as full on page and as explicit as the previous book.
I highly, highly recommend this to any Dark Vampire romance lover.
