Working away in the dead of night, Tim has written many short stories, plays and novels. Tim is the author of the bestselling'Kiera Hudson series', the two paranormal romance books entitled 'Black Hill Farm' and the 'Doorways' Trilogy.

The world publishing and movie rights to Tim's latest novel 'Flashes' have just been signed by Chicken House.

Tim's interests other than writing, include watching South Park, Vampire Diaries, True Blood and listening to Pitbull, LMFAO, Jennifer Lopez, David Guetta, Bruno Mars, Rihanna and Adele. I devoured this book in about 4 hours flat!  I am a huge fan of anything Tim O'Rourke, he has such a vivid imagination and such a unique way of translating that to paper that you can't help but love his works.  What I like most about O'Rourke is his nack for a lack of main characters but, an abundance of storyline and intrigue. 

 

We spend the majority of this book with Winter and Thad, and that's about it.  Boring you say? Oh hells no!  The story is engrossing and I found myself anxiously turning each page awaiting what secret would lie on the next.  Winter is very young and very trusting, ignoring that inner voice that keeps screaming stranger danger.  Thad is slightly older, extremely secretive and largely eccentric; slowly but surely trusting Winter and sharing more and more of himself with her everyday. 

 

The chemistry between these two is not immediately evident or in your face but, it's hiding there under the surface, waiting to be released.  All the while these two are "getting to know each other", there is the underlying story of a series of horrific murder's plauging London.  Oh, and, there might be some Vampire's and Werewolve's running amuck.

 

I give this one 5/5....... but, that's just my two cents!
