What an amazing year this has been!  I've met some amazing people while working on the blog; Authors, Reviewers, Bloggers and Readers.  The huge success my blog has achieved is largely in part to all of the above and your support and participation for tours, posts and giveaways.

Ava Brandt's only memories of her dead father come to her in her dreams, at least she assumes the man she dreams rescued her from the dark, scary place was her father. Ava assumes her dream is just that, a fantasy, until a chance meeting with a stranger brings her memory of being abducted as a child and taken to a lab flooding back. The discovery only serves to awaken a greater mystery.

Ben Pearson is the son of a historic physician who unlocked the key to aging two hundred years ago before being killed by his partner, Dr. Bruder, out of greed. Ben, able to maintain his body in an ageless state with the help of his father's research, has pursued Dr. Bruder through centuries only to come up short of catching him time and again.

Together Ava and Ben must work together to end the doctor's sociopathic streak of murder and experimentation on unwitting subjects in his twisted hunt for the missing piece of the formula for immortality only Ben holds. Or is it the doctor who will finally win when he finds the one thing Ben wants more than revenge?

A noblewoman, an assassin, and a soul-stealing necklace....

Sora planned on running away from her wedding, but she never expected to be kidnapped! Dumped into a world of magical races, arcane jewelry and forgotten lore, she finds herself at the mercy of a dangerous assassin, haunted by an even darker past. She yearns for freedom, but he won't let her go -- not when her Cat's Eye necklace is the only thing that can save his life.

But the necklace itself presents a problem. It is an ancient device from the long forgotten War of the Races, and its magic has the ability to steal souls. Can Sora learn to wield its power -- or will the power wield her? (Winner of the SKOW 2006 Best Fantasy Award)

  15. My youngest child (son) graduated High School in June, in the top of his class too. I cried like a big baby. Now my husband and I are empty nesters. :( Even though he goes to a local college we hardly see him.

  20. This year.. It has been a roller coaster for me. There has been some good and some really bad moments. I have met a lot of great people. I started my blog. I bought a lot of amazing books. I'm learning about all my bad experiences (It's hard to get the best of bad things, but I'm trying a lot!) And I'm ready for the next year. Hopefully, I can finish college so I can graduate. I'm so happy because, even if I haven't had what I wanted until now, I'm so grateful of what I have, it's wonderful. Life is awesome. Many blessings for all of you, and Merry Christmas or Happy holidays! :) Big hugs!

  26. One of my best parts of 2012, other than family and all that, is my rediscovery for my love of books. I knew I loved books, ever since I could read. But ever since I had kids almost 5 years ago, reading has been put on the backburner.... Like, no reading at all! Since about April, I have read over 100 books. WHA!!! But, I am so glad I did, because I found out about this awesome niche of indie authors that I never knew existed.
