Covet blog tour stop spotlight & review

Gone With The Wolf, Kristin Miller

Untitled

CEO and alpha werewolf Drake Wilder has given up the search for his one true love. When he discovers that she’s a secretary in his company, Drake’s primal instincts kick into overdrive.
What he wouldn’t give to have her fingers rake over his body instead of the keyboard…
Free-spirited bartender Emelia Hudson wants nothing more than to make her Seattle-based bar succeed. But when profits decline, she slips into a dress suit and secures a nine-to-five. After learning that her bar has become property of Wilder Financial, Emelia is determined to get some answers.
Two can play the ruthless business game. If only her attraction to the boss wasn’t so intense…
When Drake’s twin brother senses that Drake has found his match—and now inherits their father’s billion dollar estate—he hatches a plan to take Emelia out. Drake vows to protect her at all costs, but he might have to pay with his own life.

My review:
Drake Wilder is the brash, sexy and successful CEO of Wilder Enterprise’s. He’s also a werewolf. He’s lived many years without his Luminary, fated mate, and has given up on ever finding her when he stumbles upon Emie in his wine cellar. Beautiful, blonde and bold, Emelia Hudson wants nothing more than to take Drake Wilder down a notch or two. She has no idea the smoldering man that set her on fire when he kissed her in the cellar is the same man she loathes.

Drake realized immediately that he’s found his Luminary. Not only is she stubborn, hard headed and extremely independent. But Emie can’t stand him, or atleast she can’t stand the man she thinks he is. The Drake that Emie falls in love with is not the same Drake that bought her bar right out from under her. The bar she’s spent every penny she has to her name on, the bar she’s pumped her soul into.  These two bring out the best, and the worst in each other.

Silas, Drakes twin brother and other candidate as Alpha of their pack, wants control over everything. The pack, their late fathers estate and Wilder Inc. If he has to kill his brother’s Luminary to achieve his goals, so be it. If Drake and Emie can find a balance between their passionately fierce love and their struggles to maintain their individuality as well… will they survive Silas?

Miller delivers one sexy story with Gone with the Wolf. She even throws a few curve balls in there to keep you guessing right up until the very end! The intimacy between Drake and Emie is smoldering, sexy and passionate. The action and suspense will keep you intrigued as well. I give this one 5/5 and I anxiously await the next book in this new series.

Paranormal romance has long been a genre grounded in heavy world-building and dark, tortured heroes. We love those traditional paranormals at Entangled and have an amazing selection under our Select and Edge imprints. Book series like Rosalie Lario’s Demons of Infernum, Tiffany Allee’s Files from the Otherworlder Enforcement Agency books, and Nina Croft’s brand new Order novels are just a few of Entangled's offerings.
But if there’s one thing we know about paranormal romance, it’s that it breaks rules. All kinds of rules. And that’s where the Covet imprint comes in. Covets are firmly grounded in the contemporary world, but each novel brings in supernatural twists, breaking the contemporary and paranormal rules, alike.
Covets have all the sexiness, emotion, and happily ever after that readers have come to expect and love from Entangled. With our launch this month, we’re bringing five titles to the forefront of this rule-breaking imprint. Greek gods, witches, demons, shifters, vampires … there’s something for everyone.
To find out more about our launch titles, chat with authors, participate in special events, and to find out what books you’ll be </ i>coveting next, visit the Entangled website, follow us on Twitter, and LIKE our Facebook page. We have lots of exciting events coming up, and Round Two of our launch in May!
Take a look at the first Covets, and start adding to your TBR pile.
