She must travel overseas to the Lost Isles, a place of legend and mystery. Only there can she destroy the bloodmage, Volcrian, putting an end to the curse. She is accompanied by Crash, a lethal assassin who once threatened—and saved—her life. But Sora is beginning to question her dark companion. He seems to be carrying a secret; a hidden past that could endanger them all.

Meanwhile, they are hunted by an underground society known as the Shade. For centuries, the Shade has waited for the perfect opportunity to step into the light. Now they are perilously close to resurrecting a Dark God and unleashing a wave of unimaginable destruction. They only need to collect the three sacred weapons, and Sora has already found two....

She Said/ She Said review for Volcrian's Hunt!!

My favorite aspect to this book was the hunt. All the while Sora, Crash and their companions are hunting the sacred weapons, Volcrian is hunting them. He wants Crash for revenge and he wants Sora for her power. What did you like most about the book Jess?
Pretty close to what you liked Tammy! I like the adventure that we get to embark on. The constant suspense to what's going to happen next. I like how the flow of the book kept you entertained at every page! Exactly how I like it!

Sora has become one of my favorite fictional characters. She's loyal to a fault. With her friends, family and even strangers. She's grown both physically and personally so much throughout the series. The spoiled little girl has grown into a beautiful and fierce young woman. What do you like about Sora Jess?
Wow that's like a loaded question Tams! The author has created a female lead that even when she was "younger" and we first met her I loved her. She has grown in her strength both physically and emotionally. She has always been faithful to who she is and what she believes in. What I love about Sora the best is she never lost herself. Even thrown into something unexpected she remains who she is while still growing to be something she wants to be...does that make sense? Lol

Crash is just absolutely delicious! He will stop at nothing to protect Sora all the while he's pushing her away. And then there is the bad boy assassin attitude that he has perfected over the years. When he goes into killing mode, oh my word he's so sexy. More of Crash's past is uncovered in this story as well, his training as an assassin and choosing his name. It was extremely interesting getting under his skin. What do you like about Crash Jess?
Ay-ya-yai!! Crash is so swoon worthy isn't he! He's like someone created that is so wrong to love but still you can't help it. He has this bad boy demeanor that is not fabricated. This guy is hard core killer. His softness is a rare commodity that shows through only towards specific things happening around him. That has to be my favorite part about him. In all the ways he shows us he is this strong assassin somewhere in there we eventually get human emotion. Plus it helps that T.L. Shreffler has designed him to be a total babe! Hahaha

Lori and Ferran, oh my. Their interactions with each other were just priceless. I wonder just how close these two were in the past, and what role he'll play in Lori and Sora's lives in the future. Lori is a healer and Ferran possesses a Cat's Eye, like Sora, so perhaps they can balance each other in a way no one else can. What do you think of Lori and Ferran Jess?
I agree again here Tams! It's like you're taking the words out of my mouth! This author has created characters that interact so well even in their arguments or disagreements she's created flawless interactions and connections between characters and readers. These two were new and they were equally accepted in my eyes to the story. Nothing is accidental, I'm beginning to believe...I'm thinking the author knows exactly the way the future will play out for Ferran, Sora and Lori.

Overall this book was full of action and suspense, and who knew that once Sora and Crash started kissing, they wouldn't be able to stop! I loved the romance and mystery that kept a steady pace throughout.Twists and turns will keep the reader guessing, and even though one threat may be extinguished, another presents itself. What are your final thoughts on the book Jess?
Holy moly! Is that a secret Tams? The kiss? I know it's one all fans were waiting for! I almost read too fast through the story because I just knew it had to happen eventually right!! Then bam the author finally gives us the connection that's been there alllllll along! Phew! Thank you!! If it wasn't going to happen in Volcrian's Hunt I was going to go all pitchfork on the author!! Hahaha J/k! Maybe. ;) anyway-- yes there's always a new story unfolding and a new predicament our crew finds themselves in. I love that T.L. kept us constantly enthralled. She's done that since the first book Sora's Quest so it's no surprise that the writing keeps getting stronger and the story keeps getting deeper. I'm in love with this series! Where can we get these signed? Seriously. I need them! #TeamSora!! #TeamCrash!! I give this book my thumbs up!
I agree, this book, this series is a Must Read!!
