Gearing up for GRL! {Tam's & Morticia's daring adventures in Chicago}

Gearing up for GRL!

As some of you may know, I'm attending my first book conference this next week in Chicago, and I'm equal parts anxious, nervous and excited. Gay Rom Lit is a stellar book conference that is ran and promoted by some fantastic Authors and Publishers of the genre. I'll be doing a Supporting Author book signing, meet and greet on Thursday and then I'll be in the Author's Lounge on Saturday. I hope that if you are attending, you will come see me and maybe find out more about my books if you haven't read them yet.

My roomie and I, Author Morticia Knight, are putting together 50 small goodie bags with various swag from different Authors and an Opposites series tote for giveaway to 1 lucky winner that will include signed paperbacks from both of us, an Opposites series Tshirt, koozie, Crazy Creations jewelry, bookmarks and loads more stuff. So you have to stop by my table in the Supporting Author room to grab one of these goodie bags, and enter to win the tote full of goodies!

And then for the Author's Lounge, I will be giving away a Tshirt and koozie to someone else that stops by to have a drink and visit. And maybe something else, you will have to come see me to find out what. Don't you just love surprises!

Opposites is an adult, dystopian, majorly M/M series set in a future society where being gay/lesbian is the norm. To be straight labels you an Opposites and makes you the Outkast of society. In our world today, to be LGBTQ is still taboo and takes on a world of ignorance, hatred and abuse. I wanted to create a world that is Opposite of that, a world where everything we know and live by today is flipped.

At the heart of all the stories in this series is the ideal that Love is Love. It knows no gender, it doesn't conform to restrictions or boundaries, it simply... is. And while the stories are majorly M/M, I am an equal opportunity sexist who fully utilizes her dirty mind, so there are M/F and F/F relationships as well.

You can grab your copies of Opposites, The Library and Appearances now through
And look for the next novella in the series, The Cellar, this November.
See you in Chicago!!

A military brat born and raised at Ft. Benning Georgia; Smith is an avid reader, reviewer and writer. She now calls Texas home from her small town on the outskirts of the DFW Metroplex. Most days you can find her curled up with her kindle and a good book alongside a glass of something aged and red or a steaming cup of coffee!

At 42 years young, she's decided to enter the next phase of her life by adding the title of "author" to her list of accomplishments that includes single mom of three disturbingly outspoken and decidedly different kids, one of which is Autistic. Smith is and outspoken advocate for Autism and equal rights for the LGBTQ community.

Her Opposites series is based outside the normal parameters of social acceptability, examining a 'what if'... What If to be gay or lesbian were the norm? What if to be straight labeled you as an Opposite and made YOU the Outkast?
