His Right Choice (Men of Falcon Pointe book 4) by Thianna Durston - Cat's 5 Star Release day Review #mmromance @Dreamspinners @the_weremouse

A Men of Falcon Pointe Novel
Nicholas Layton, fresh off his mission for the Mormon church, attends Falcon Pointe University with plans to enjoy his final year of freedom before he gives in and marries his long-term girlfriend. But when he meets a group of gay men, some of whom are ex-Mormons and some who practice discipline by spanking, he finds he is more comfortable with them than anywhere else. Suddenly he’s straddling the line between good Mormon and gay man.
As an added bonus—or problem, depending—he meets Ethan Kierk, who is good-looking, fun to be around, and who wants to be with him. Nick tries not to think about dating a man, but he can’t help it. He wants Ethan, and that terrifies him.
To avoid his feelings, Nick steels himself to propose to his girlfriend but breaks things off at the last moment. Instead, he jumps headlong into a relationship with Ethan, and it feels so right—until he has to tell his family. When they reject him, he shares his darkest secret with Ethan, hoping Ethan won’t reject him too.
Hoping he made the right choice.

The Men of Falcon Pointe is a series about young men in college, mostly Mormons that have come to FPY to find themselves away from family. Each man's story is quite different and all touching.

His Right Choice is about Nick a Mormon man back off his two-year mission and back in Sophmore year in college.  He is there with his best friend Deke, also back from his own mission. They are rooming together. One day they see five guys and finds out all five are gay and all but one were once Mormon.

Nick has his life planned, has a girlfriend he is about to propose to Have kids and be the good Mormon man his family wants him to be. That is until the group of five sees more in him than he sees in himself. A part of him he has tried to hide since he was a young boy.A part of himself he doesn't want to know.

He makes friends with Santi, Finn, Bastien, Rafe and Trent. He plans to see what gay life is about, then go back to his original plans   Then he meets Ethan and its hard to hide his growing attraction the the wealthy businessman.

I loved this story. I think its now my favorite in the series. Yes its still about a young Gay Mormon finding himself and a mate, but I thought the story was very  touching. Nick wasn't like the others coming to be gay he was hiding, even running from it. I loved Ethan. He is a very well-rounded character. though he has money he is not stuffy or arrogant.  Ethan's story is a bit on the tragic side so be sure to have a tissue handy.

Some of the older characters played important roles in this book especially Santi and Finn. We also got a few name drops that I hope we will see books on again...Like Avery and Frank.

If you are looking for a heart-warming , touching romance, and you  like Mormons, college men, friends to lovers and some hot but loving man-sex I think you will like this one. (this is a series. It can stand alone but sincce so many recurring characters are in it, it probably would be good to read in order.)

Thianna Durston is a writer by day and supernova by night. Or at least that’s what the faeries tell her. And who is she to deny those pesky *cough* lovely little creatures?

She lives in the Pacific Northwest, though her heart belongs elsewhere. In the meantime, until she can return to the place she calls home, she happily lives in a city that still thinks it’s a small town. Thankfully, it has given her muse lots of amusing places to start a story.
