There was a lot of content in so few pages and I was drawn into the story from the start.

Snowed In seems to fit just fine, and it's the title the Author gave the story, why mess with it?

At just fifteen years old, Nate not only knew he was gay, he knew exactly who he wanted… his brother’s best friend Quinn. Several years later on an annual Holiday trip to their family cabin, Nate finally gets what he has wanted for so long. But he is left stunned, confused and broken hearted when he wakes up the next morning to find Quinn gone.
Two years later Quinn is back to beg for forgiveness and to finally explain to Nate why he snuck out of the bed they’d just shared, like a thief in the night. Quinn is back to lay claim to Nate, but what he finds is not the energetic, full of life young man that Quinn fell in love with. Nate is pissed off, defiant and wants nothing to do with Quinn. Will an unplanned trip to the cabin and a couple of days alone be the answer to Quinn’s prayers?
Short, Sexy and… wait for it… Steamy! Kostova has delivered yet another fantastic Holiday story full of meat for us to sink our teeth into. (pun intended) Seriously, there was a lot of content in so few pages and I was drawn into the story from the start. My heart broke for young Nate, to have the one thing he has always dreamed of, then to have it snatched away while he lay dreaming. It really hits Nate hard and just by the dialogue in the story between Quinn and Bran, Nates brother, you know how hard the years have been on both men. I knew though, I just knew there had to be a reason. I’ll say no more, you’ll have to read for yourself.
Definitely the perfect little short story for this time of year; Snowed In is intense, passionate and intriguing. I devoured it in a little over an hour, just could not put it down once I started.

EXCERPT ...
Nate could hear the cruelty in his tone but he didn't care. He’d never been this angry in his life, and if Quinn wasn’t here to face the mess he’d caused, Nate was going to use the next best thing – the traitor who’d chosen him over his own brother.
“I didn’t know any of that,” Brandon said, his eyes softening.
He reached for Nate, but Nate whipped his hand away, taking a step back.
“Don’t fucking touch me!”
Angry tears prickled behind his eyes, making him feel humiliated even more. Spinning around on his heel, he ignored Brandon's voice calling him back and stomped into to his room, slamming the door.
He didn’t make it to the bed. The anger, grief, and loss he’d felt overwhelmed him and Nate slumped to the floor, a ragged sob tearing out of his throat.
I hope one day you can forgive me...

Where are you from, and where do you call home?
I was born in Sofia, Bulgaria, but I’ve spent my
entire adult life in London, so I’m a grumpy Londoner through and through.
What inspired you to start writing?
I’m not entirely sure, I don’t think there was a
specific incident. I remember, as a child, I’d read a book and if it didn’t end
as I’d imagined, I’d sit down and write my own ending. I guess I wanted to
write my own endings from then on.
How long have you been writing?
As long as I remember. As a student
in college I had a part time job as a journalist in a sports newspaper, and
after that I did a lot of writing, whether for work or for fun. I decided to
give writing a chance as a full time career back in 2010 when I wrote a book
that I thought might be good enough to publish.
What advice would you give a new
writer just starting out?
Write a lot. Any chance you get. And
write the truth. Don’t bend your stories to certain genre requirements, and
don’t make your characters do something – or not do something – just because
that’ll make them more popular. Write the story as you see it, and stay true to
yourself.
Do you ever suffer from writer’s block? If so, what do
you do about it?
Yes, I’ve had a couple of really bad writer’s blocks
over the past few years. They lasted for months, the last one to a point where
I thought I’d never write again. I don’t think there’s something I did about
it. I was wallowing in self pity pretty much all the time. The thought of
sitting down in front of my computer and opening a Word document gave me so
much anxiety that I stopped using my computer altogether. And then I got a
spark. A scene. A flash of a smile. A line of dialogue. And I couldn’t wait to
start writing it all down.
What Author’s in the genre do you read?
I’d read pretty much anything. I don’t have
favourites, I love discovering new to me authors all the time. In general, I
prefer contemporary, but I can’t resist a good paranormal or YA when I find
one.
What comes first, the plot or characters?
The characters. All my stories are character driven.
Most of the time I have a vague outline with certain plot points, and not much
else when I start writing, and let my characters lead the way.
Describe the perfect writing space.
I love writing in my office. The perfect space should
have as few distractions as possible – it’s really hard for me to focus, so
anything new or exciting would hinder my productivity.
Do you do research for your books? If so, what does
that entail?
Yes, I do. I always break the ‘write what you know’
rule, so I end up doing a ton of research. It depends. I read a lot for
research, but I also like the more hands on approach like talk to people who
can share first-hand experience, or travel to places where I set my books in,
or, if possible, actually do the thing I’m researching and gain my own
understanding about it.
How many books have you written? Which is your
favorite?
I’ve written 12 books. I can’t pick a favourite! I’m
proud of all of them.
Do you hear from your readers much? What do they say?
Yes, all the time! It’s such a brilliant experience.
They’re so enthusiastic about my books that it makes me giddy!
Are you working on anything at the present you would
like to tell us about?
I just published by new book Kiss and Ride, so I’m
taking a little break from writing 5K per day. It was exhausting! But I am
working on something, it’s the sequel to Cookies, Greg and Shane’s story. It’s
still in the early stages, but hopefully it’ll be released in February.
Hi, my name is Teodora and I live in London with my husband and my son. I've been writing ever since I can remember, but it became my full time job a few years ago when I decided that everything else I've tried bores me to death and I have to do what I've always wanted to do, but never had the guts to fully embrace. I've been a journalist, an editor, a personal assistant and an interior designer among other things, but as soon as the novelty of the new, exciting job wears off, I always go back to writing. Being twitchy, impatient, loud and hasty are not qualities that help a writer, because I have to sit alone, preferably still, and write for most of the day, but I absolutely love it. It's the only time that I'm truly at peace and the only thing I can do for more than ten minutes at a time - my son has a bigger attention span than me.
When I'm procrastinating, I like to go to the gym, cook Italian meals (and eat them), read, listen to rock music, watch indie movies and True Blood re-runs. Or, in the worst case scenario, get beaten at every Nintendo Wii game by a very inventive kid. Don't be shy and get in touch - I love connecting with my readers.
