The Billionaire's Boyfriend, A Romantic Comedy by Geoffrey Knight | Cat's Review & #giveaway @FathomsFive

Matthew Darcy is a romance writer in a rut. He’s been stuck on Chapter One of his new book for as long as he can remember, and so has his love life. But when his on-the-side job as a flower delivery guy puts him in the right place at the right time to save the life of billionaire banker Calvin Croft, Matt’s life takes an unexpected detour toward romance.

With billions to his name, Cal Croft has everything… except someone to love. But is Cal’s paparazzi-pursued life something that Matt is willing to take a chance on? Can a struggling romance writer who delivers flowers for a living possibly have anything in common with a handsome billionaire with his own Learjet? And could the secret that Cal’s keeping tear these two lovers apart—just when their romance begins to blossom?

**The Billionaire's Boyfriend is a standalone gay romantic-comedy with a HEA ending and no cliffhangers. Expect to be swept off your feet with a fairytale romance, two MCs who are destined to be together, and a zany cast of support characters to keep you smiling.**

I am usually not a fan of Billionaire stories but I have to say Geoffrey Knight just changed my mind and heart. This story got me from the first line and kept me going to the end. I laughed and cried ( happy tears). Did I mention I laughed? OMG, I laughed so much. Why might you ask?

Mathew is a romance writer that also delivers flowers. He lives above the flower shop in one of four apartments. One is lived in by the owner a feisty Irish woman that always has a flask on hand, one by an old man that is always found in one of their apartments doing weird stuff saying hilarious things like he remembers when.... How he gets in the apartments is a mystery to me and the other characters as well! The last is a twelve-year-old girl Tilly whose other works three jobs so Matt and the flower shop owner watch over her or shall we say she watches over them.

One day Matt is in a hurry to deliver flowers. He has 15 minutes and is running late. He is nearly hit by a garbage truck and sees a man walking in front of it. He tries to warn the man but he doesn't hear above all the noise so Matt runs into him on his bike. Come to find out it is Calvin a billionaire and both of their lives change drastically that day.

And that is just the beginning of the story! I loved all of the characters! Each one added so much to the story. The storyline even though it is a simple trope is so fresh and exhilarating. This story is a breath of fresh air and I recommend it if you have had a hard day and need cheering up!

From palace-hopping across the Rajasthan Desert to sleeping in train stations in Bulgaria, from spinning prayer-wheels in Kathmandu to exploring the skull-gated graveyards of the indigenous Balinese tribes, Geoffrey Knight has been a traveller ever since he could scrape together enough money to buy a plane ticket. Born in Melbourne but raised and educated in countless cities and towns across Australia, Geoffrey was a nomadic boy who grew into a nomadic gay writer. When he’s not travelling the world, Geoffrey is travelling the world of his imagination—where the adventures, thrills and romance are limitless.

He currently owns his own advertising and design agency which he runs from his island home on the Great Barrier Reef, and can’t wait to buy his next plane ticket—whether it’s real or imaginary.
