Cat gives this one 5 Meows...

This was my first book by Robert Bryndza but won’ be my last. Also, I haven’t read or listened to a lot of female detectives that aren’t cozy mysteries. Again, I loved Erika and this story, I found Erika likeable, relatable and the story line was intriguing.

The book grabbed me from the beginning and kept me intrigued, even though it did skip character views a few times, but it was done quite well, and you could tell who was thinking or speaking.

The narration is good, and I liked her voice and style. I think she did a great job pulling the reader in and holding our attention.

If you like good suspense, A female detective with history, secrets, and a twist, You should like this book. I recommend it.
