Wounded Soul by Annabelle Jacobs | Cat’s Review & #giveaway @ajacobs_fiction @SignalBoostPR @TTCBooksandmore

One night can change everything…

Jesse Sykes has lived far longer than his youthful appearance suggests. Becoming a vampire after tragedy struck seemed the only option when his soul was shattered, after all he’s no stranger to having to hide what he is from the rest of the world. But eternal life isn’t without problems or heartache.

With a good job and great friends, Ian Moreton’s life would be almost perfect—if only he wasn’t in love with his best friend. His feelings are unrequited, and in an effort to move on, he takes a chance on a one-night stand with the handsome stranger he meets in a bar.

Jesse knows the risks of becoming attached to a human, but with neither of them looking for anything serious, where’s the harm? At least, that’s what Jesse thinks until his chemistry with Ian proves off the charts.

A second hook-up solidifies their connection…and brings Jesse to his senses. He scrambles to protect Ian from danger, but it’s already too late. With Ian unwittingly drawn into a world he knows nothing about, events are set in motion that will change both of their lives forever, and it’s up to Jesse to steer them safely through it.

Ian is in love with his best friend Blake, but Blake doesn’t share his feelings. Finally, his other best friend Cate smacks him with reality and tells him to get over it. Jesse approaches and Ian is attracted so he takes him home thinking it’s a one night hookup, but they meet again and both men want more. But Jesse has a secret. A deadly one and has to let go…. But is it too late?

I love a good PNR and it has been a while especially for a good vampire that isn’t run of the mill. This book has a good story line, fabulous characters and lots of twists and turns. I have to say I didn’t see a way out until the end.

I would have liked a bit more on the vampire police, like why they were formed and how suddenly Blake was one but maybe that is for another book.

If you are looking for a good MM vampire book, I recommend this one.

Annabelle Jacobs lives in the South West of England with her three rowdy children, and two cats.

An avid reader of fantasy herself for many years, Annabelle now spends her days writing her own stories. They're usually either fantasy or paranormal fiction, because she loves building worlds filled with magical creatures, and creating stories full of action and adventure. Her characters may have a tough time of it--fighting enemies and adversity--but they always find love in the end.

Toby and Ethan have been together for years. When asked when they will get married Toby says never. Deep down Ethan wants to get married and with his sister renewing her vows it is starting to nag at him. Then Toby insists they go to Ethan's sister's wedding even though Ethan has a lot of work. When there, Toby disappears a lot leaving Ethan alone and wondering if they should call it quits if Toby doesn't want marriage.

Analog to Digital is such a beautiful story. I felt so sorry for Ethan at times, but you could still see the love between him and Toby. I loved the characters, the descriptions and especially the twist at the end. It made me want to sing and dance!
If you are looking for a short, sweet story to warm your heart on a cold night or day or love Christmas in summer like I do grab this!

Posy Roberts started reading romance when she was young, sneaking peeks at adult books long before she should’ve. Textbooks eventually replaced the novels, and for years she existed without reading for fun. When she finally picked up a romance two decades later, it was like slipping on a soft hoodie . . . that didn’t quite fit like it used to. She wanted something more.

She wanted to read about men falling in love with each other. She wanted to explore beyond the happily ever after and see characters navigate the unpredictability of life. So Posy sat down at her keyboard to write the books she wanted to read.

Her stories have been USA Today’s Happily Ever After Must-Reads and Rainbow Award finalists. When she’s not writing, she’s spending time with her family and friends and doing anything possible to get out of grocery shopping and cooking.

All Cal wants is a little privacy...

Cal isn’t enjoying the Christmas holiday, stuck in an overcrowded house with his huge family. His only solace is that Philip will soon arrive.

He’s worried introducing Philip as his boyfriend rather than his roommate could put a damper on the holiday season, but his dad drops a bigger bomb: the family home will be sold.

Derailed from coming out, Cal makes it his mission to squeeze every ounce out of his last holiday in his childhood home. But there’s no way to disguise his love for Philip.

This holiday season is one of endings, but can it be the start of something even better?

Cal went home to his large family for Christmas. His roommate and live-in boyfriend Phillip had to go out of town for Christmas, but he is meeting up with his family. Cal is supposed to tell them Phillip is more than a roommate, but he gets blindsided when his family announces they are selling the family home and moving. Cal takes the news hard, but when Phillip arrives, he is considerate of Cal's feelings.

This story is such a sweet holiday story and fun to read anytime. I loved Cal's family, the fun they have, and the relationship Cal and Phillip have. If you are looking for a drama-free story, sweet romance with just a little heat and love a good coming out story with a HEA this is for you.

I wasn’t meant to be hers.
A perfect summer, an idyllic island, a stream of stolen nights.

If we were going to live again, she deserved more than the fractured shards of the broken creature I’d become.
She deserved love.

I love anything that has to do with romance. As long as there’s a happy ending, I’m a happy camper. I love baseball (Go Twins!) and creating awesome crafts. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, working in that field for several years before I became a stay-at-home mom. When I’m not hanging out with my wonderful family, I’m writing a sweet contemporary romance or a romantic suspense that keeps you guessing until the end. I have a few more amazing stories in the works. If you would like to connect with me or see important news, head to my website at http://www.amandasiegrist.com.
