romance, it’s a slow burn that develops throughout the series.

starting with At a Stranger’s Mercy since this takes up after the events there.
I love these two men and I
love the slow burn as they are working on friendship and Bradley is trying to
build trust in Max. This sort of has two stories rolled in one as Max is
working on a cold case that reminds him of his past and we get a lot of Max in
this one.
The story is well written,
suspenseful and the characters so realistic. It is a slow burn so don't expect
any sex. I cannot wait for the next book.
If at all possible, get
the audios because Kenneth Obi adds great voice and excitement to enhance your
experience.
