Synopsis
Soccer goalkeeper Jaden Sloup has his eye on Ella Kennedy, a woman who won’t date jocks or frat boys. He dons a pair of nerd glasses and hugs a laptop to convince her he’s a techno geek, and she agrees to go to with him to a cosplay convention in Las Vegas, where his team’s playoff game happens to be.

Jaden must juggle sizzling in the sheets with Ella against a soccer match and hanging with his frat-brother teammates. When a bully harasses Ella and challenges Jaden to a fight, he proves even a goalie can score.

Jaden and Ella are friends of Jax and Kimber from Dani Evan's hottest new adult romance - a story of obsession, passion, and surrender. Will you be the next contestant?

Cat gives this one 4 Meows story 5 Meows performance 5 meows overall with a 4 Purr heat index

The story is good. It is a New adult, with both characters in college, one a frat boy and soccer player the other a big cosplay lover and nerd. I love all of Rachelle's books. She creates very compelling characters and tough I never connected and at times did not like Jaden, the characters are realistic and compelling.

Charley Ongel and Tor Thom are great narrators and on their own bring stories to life but put them together and oh my what a fabulous duo. They don't just switch chapters but seamlessly fill in each character's lines as in a movie. I highly recommend this in audio!
