The last thing Shelby expects for her 20th birthday is an expensive car built the year she was born. But the Shelby Cobra has more than a racing engine under the hood....

Joey always ran with a rough crowd, and that's probably why he died so young. Death is one thing - being a ghost in his own car is something else!

Shelby wants her last days at college to be picture-perfect, sorority-girl peaceful. Joey needs to find his way to the Pearly Gates.

Just when it looks as if neither's wish will come true, the ex from hell kidnaps Shelby, leaving the sexy ghost few options. Should he risk eternity for another? And if he does, will she even care?

Cat gives this one 4 Meows with a 3 Purr heat index...

For a short story, this was packed with action, heat and a good storyline. It is an upbeat story about a ghost that thinks he is still around after twenty years to do something to earn his place in Heaven. He is bound to the car he was killed in a Shelby Cobra. Shelby's dad gives her the Cobra for her birthday and for the first time in twenty years someone can see him.

The characters are well developed, interesting and the book keeps you reading (In my case listening) Especially St Peter and his song references cracked me up.

Doug Jacobs was new to me narrator. The narration was OK.  He didn't try to make the women's voices too feminine and squeaky but he softened it enough you could tell it was females.

This is a fun, sexy story with a very happy ending, I didn't expect.
