Cat's Review of The Strange Case of Jenna McLeod by LJ Monier @LaeMonier @TTCBooksandmore

Found on fire in a field, the body of a young woman raises a lot of questions. The answers are way stranger than you can imagine.

LJ Monier is a new to me author. This is just a very short story but if it is a sample of what we can expect of a longer book…I am in.

The Strange Case Of Jenna McLeod is a psychological thriller. It keeps you wondering and there is quite the twist. I will admit at first, I kept adding up questions in my head I wanted answers to but eventually they all got answered. The story did end rather abruptly for me, but it does work as an ending as the answer is there.

It is a very good, complete story to be so short (21 pages) so it is easy to read if you only have a short time and need a filler and love a good psychological thriller.

LJ has completed a BA Hons in Criminology & Creative Writing. Her stories reflect the lurid tales about crime and desperation from the point of view of the criminal. Character-driven, her stories take the reader into the life of the individual. With humor and fervor, she creates a compelling tale for those who enjoy crime and a good story.

When she isn’t plotting crimes, and developing devious characters, you can find her hiking in woods, rowing on lakes or the sea. She also loves animals especially dogs and walks and trains them in her spare time. Someday she will have one (or a dozen) of her own.
