Cat’s Review of Ironhearted (Hope Cove book 3) by Cate Ashwood @cateashwood @TTCBooksandmore

I am anti-love.
Too much drama, thankyouverymuch.
All I want is a hot guy to roll around with every once in a while. No muss, no fuss. It’s precisely what I’m looking for when I’m out for a night of dancing and run into the most delectable Trevor Ryan. We’re explosive together. Molten. It’s one of the best nights of my life, and when I wake up the next morning alone, I can’t help the slight twinge of regret that I didn’t at least ask for his number.
But two months later, none other than god-between-the-sheets-Trevor walks into my bakery. And he’s not alone. With entanglements and complications galore, I should forget I ever met him.
But I can’t.
I thought all I wanted was to be free and single, but apparently, my heart has other plans.

This was Hadyn’s story and I think it was the best in the series. Hadyn is pretty much a manslut and loves his one night stands. He has never wanted a relationship and thinks his friends are all nuts for pairing up. Then he has the best sex of his life with Trevor. He can’t quit thinking of that night then in walks, the one man he can't seem to forget with a woman and daughter. But Trevor won't let go.

I loved the ups and downs. I loved getting more of Oliver and the other guys but the back and forth with Oliver is such fun.  There are lots of twists to get to the HEA for these two. And Violet is just too cute.

I would have loved to have known more about Trevor. It does touch on his past but a very faint touch. I wanted to know more about how  Violet came about and how he did get her but all in all, this was a great romance!

Cate discovered her love for books of all kinds early on, but romance is where her heart truly lies. She is addicted to the happily ever afters and the journey the characters take to get there. Currently residing in White Rock, B.C, Cate loves living just a stone's throw from the ocean. When she's not writing, she can be found consuming coffee at an alarming rate while wrangling her children, her husband, and their two cats.
