This is a book one in a series, however, there is a short prequel you must read first or you may be lost. I was. The book keeps referring back to the events in the short and that’s how Mike and Shane meet.

I love all the characters especially Mike’s mom, Nonna and sister Tessa. There is slot of fun as the story sets up the series and introducers characters. 

If you like opposites attract, coming out, hot firemen, flamboyant men, forced proximity and lots of feels.
