Up first allow me to introduce Beth Laycock with her favourite Christmas tradition, giveaway details at the end of the post... 

My favourite Christmas tradition is putting up the decorations. It’s an all-day affair that starts with putting up the tree. There has to be Christmas songs playing in the background, I have to wear my favourite reindeer Christmas jumper, and, of course, a mug of hot chocolate! Once every available inch of space has been decorated, I wrap all the presents and put them under the tree until it’s time for them to be delivered.

Every year I try to make a new Christmas decoration. Last year I sewed a felt Christmas jumper garland, and a Christmas lights cross stitch. This year I’ve made a snowflake and a Santa ornament using macramé. Who knows what I’ll try next year!

I do love sharing Holiday traditions, and this is a favorite of mine as well. We don't make a new ornament each year, but we do buy one and it has to have the year on it. This was a short read with a delicate balance of cuteness and steam, and I absolutely loved it! Aubron is one of Santa's Elves, specifically in charge of his reindeer. Now we're not really talking Rudolph, Prancer and Vixen here. The story is more modern day and there's some new faces in the game, Dasher included, but not in the way it may seem. 

It's always a joy for me as a reader when an Author takes a well known story and breathes new life into it, which is what has happened here. And for so few pages there really was a lot of content to sink my teeth into. Watching these two characters as they figured things out along with a smattering of fun originals like Santa, his workshop and the North poll, but shared within a new point of view.

 

If you're looking for a short, sweet Holiday themed romance, then this one is a winner. Highly recommend. 

Beth Laycock’s books are influenced by her time living overseas as well as the gritty, urban landscape of the north of England where she grew up. She has been reading romance since she was old enough to tell herself that line every book lover does—just one more chapter.

As a teenager, she attempted to write her first novel, and many more since then are still gathering dust on her bookshelf. It wasn’t until she discovered the M/M genre that her muse showed up and refused to quit telling her stories about beautiful men finding love together. She hasn’t stopped scribbling them down since.
