This is a book one and is set in a previous world after a disease causes The Fall. It can be read on its own. This one does end on a Cliffhanger so be prepared for book two.
Oh wow, if you love good grisly vampire stories, this book has it all. There is fabulous world building, amazing characters and a hate love relationship (yes, you read that righ) that is out of this world; literally.
I loved the uniqueness of the world and characters. Not only do we have a good vampire story (bad vampires no glitter here), but we have a Jinn. The setting is dystopian and also amazing as well.
Then all the twists. Wow, just wow. I cannot wait to read the next one!
Writing love stories that are centered on flawed but lovable characters is her passion. Finding love between people isn't easy, nor should it be. Even in a book, there have to be obstacles for the story to feel real.
