Continuing from Book One-Stigmata, Mirage brings you to the destruction of the mission and how the vampires, humans, and genie survive it. 

With the talisman, Jared takes Grey far from the rubble that was once the beloved mission. Grey is heartbroken, but hopeful that the child inside Viggo used its magic to save them both. Hating his new master more than any other before him, Grey reluctantly does Jared's bidding.

Viggo and the humans head to the vineyard and try to rebuild their community. Viggo is still shaken that he, a dead male, could have a child, but with the growing magic inside him, there is no doubt. Learning that Jared is in desperate love with Joshua, Grey lets those at the vineyard know this and Viggo sends Joshua to try to steal the talisman from an unsuspecting Jared.

This is Book two and finale of the duology so if you haven't read Stigmata, do so first. This book picks up where the last left off at a very gripping Cliffhanger.

I thought the first book had a surprise baddie... whoa did this catch me off guard. And wow, what a baddie, pure evil personify. 

There are so many twists and turns, you won't t want to put this down once you start. The characters are all intriguing as the plots and twists.

I'll say this is one of the best Vampire, or supernatural books, since it's not all vampire, that I've read in a while but be prepared its DARK. 

There are some cute kid moments that lighten it up a little, but be warned and check the trigger warnings, there is violence and rape. 

Having said that, dang it's good and I hate this was just a duology and its ended.
