Cat's Review of Prince (A Daddy for Summer story) by Rain Carrington @raincarrington @tammystwocents X- @TTCBooksandmore

Prince Rose is a rich kid flunking out of college. The only hope for his father not to find out is to retake the finals of three classes. The way he can earn that privilege is to spend his summer at a camp for disadvantaged youth.

Of course, he takes the job. The cabins are shared, the food is bland and nothing that he’s used to, but he makes a few friends, something he’s sorely lacking.

He also makes a couple enemies, but what keeps him going is the mystery man who is staying in a cabin across the lake from the camp. He’s gorgeous, tattooed, the perfect man to piss off Prince’s father, but so much more.

When Prince recovers a cell phone the mystery man throws in the lake and gets it working again, he discovers that the man is even more mysterious than Prince first thought. Caught sneaking around to find out more, will the handsome stranger be one more hurdle in his life or will he be the Daddy-in-shining-armor that Prince has always needed?

Prince is part of A Daddy for Summer, a multi-author series. All the books are standalones. So why not stay and read them all?

Cat gives this book 5 meows with a 3 purr heat index...

This is part of the Daddy's of Summer world. You don't have to read in order, or read all of them, but why not? Great collection of Authors and some fun beach (of some kind) reads. This is also part of Rain's Carillo Ranch world, but also stands alone. You don't have to have read Wise Guy to understand this. It's just one of the characters from the world involved and some mentions.

This one is a summer camp for poor children and Prince is there as a Counselor because he is failing college. He can make up his grades if he completes this term. But he is way out if his depths. There are other rich men as Counselors there just to load their resumes and they are mean.

I really liked how Prince started out not liking or wanting to be there but soon had made friends. I also liked this is slow burn. He doesn't even meet his love interest past halfway.

There is some drama and excitement and twists; toss in some adorable kids and this book is the perfect feelgood read.

I will warn you... plan on time to read it, you won't want to put down.

If you like summer camp, Daddy's, age gap, a good cast of characters and cute kids you will love this.
