Alissia is determined to prove history wrong when the man she thought existed only in her dreams turns out to be real. Her world is turned upside down and inside out, a new reality taking shape around her. Can they find a way to be together? Or was her destiny truly decided before she was even born?
The majority of this book was really good y'all. Three dimensional characters and great world building, I could see the scenery in my mind while reading, I could feel Alissia's determination, drive and pain. But then toward the end the story changed somewhat, it was jarring enough to pull me out of the story and that bothered me. That being said, overall, I really enjoyed this read.
If you like stories with a forbidden romance set in a paranormal, fantasy world with likeable characters, then this book is for you. Be warned, it does end on a cliff hanger.
