Cat's Audiobook Review of The Geography of Happiness (A Mackenzie Country story) Written by Jay Hogan Narrated by Gary Furlong @jayhoganauthor @neonrainbowarcreviews @tammystwocents X- @jayhoganauthor @TTCBooksandmore

One thing I know about Terry O’Connor—the man has complicated relationship written all over him, something I’ve avoided for pretty much forever. One thing I know about Terry’s hometown, Painted Bay—it’s a long, long way from my life as a Mackenzie Country veterinarian, and dedicated, carefree bachelor. All of which should be good news.

No reason to look twice at the gorgeous man currently staying at Miller Station with his daughter.

No reason to daydream about his soft lips, quirky sense of humour, sexy smile, or the way he blushes whenever he catches me staring which is far too often.

No reason to second guess my future plans or reconsider the no-strings lifestyle I’ve worked hard to perfect.

And absolutely no reason to feel disappointed that Terry is even less interested in a relationship than I am. I should be relieved.

Then why can’t I stop thinking about him and how right it feels when we’re together? Why does my heart spin at the very mention of his name? And why does the thought of moving on without Terry and his daughter in my life feel like the loneliest decision in the world?

Cat gives this Audiobook 5 meows for the story, 5 plus meows for the performance
so, 5 meows overall

I read the book and loved it.  The characters are charming and relatable. What's not to love about an overprotective single dad with a headstrong physically challenged teenage daughter, toss in a smart work dog and you have perfection...oh I forgot the sexy veterinarian.
The storyline is amazing too.

Now I have to say the audiobook was amazing. The narration nailed each character as he (the narrator) adds in sighs, emotions and even sobs. Holy cow! It was like being there, so if at all possible, I recommend the audio if you can get it.

Cat's eBook review...
Cat gives this book 5 meows with a 3 purr heat index...

I just love this series. I thinks it's OK to say can be read out of order because I have and enjoyed just fine. Each book is a different couple, some different stations but many couples do appear in each book so the more you've read the more you know who's who.

I love the setting. It's set in New Zealand and instead if cowboys we have sheep farms mostly. This book is a large animal vet and Terry a single dad to a teen that has debilitating arthritis.
They go to Miller ranch so Zach can work with her service dog. That's where Terry meets Spencer and finds he has feelings he doesn't want to deal with.

The story is very interesting and there is lots of feels. If you like lovely scenery, charming characters, cute kids, adorable dogs, a bit of humor and sweet heat this is for you.
