Slave for Two (Soul Match series book 1) by @MorticiaKnight | Spotlight, Exclusive Excerpt & #giveaway #mmmromance #BDSM #QueerSciFi @PridePublishing

What is destined cannot be changed

Chris has had a monumentally bad month. First, an aggressive band of aliens invaded the Earth, conquered the world, and now he’s fighting for survival in the mountains with his family and the neighborhood bigot. Just because he’s barely out of his teens and a bit on the scrawny side doesn’t mean he can’t watch out for his mom, sisters and younger cousin. Chris keeps searching for the brighter side of things, but his humor is wearing thin. Fear can do that to a guy.

Lasar and Nary are a soul matched pair of warriors from Alashar. Lasar is Nary’s Ahna, the one who dominates him, and Nary is the Nasha, or submissive, to Lasar. Every Alasharian, regardless of orientation, needs the balance of the power exchange to exist peacefully within their lifelong soul match bond. When Lasar is awarded a war prize, he sends Nary to look over the recent arrivals.

Chris and his cousin Morgan are captured and sent to the slave cages where they discover from the other imprisoned young men that they are destined to be sex toys for alien pairs. When one of those aliens saves Chris and his cousin from being abused by the slave master, Chris hopes that the seemingly kind alien won’t be too horrible an owner.

Lasar and Nary are finally alone together with their new sex slave, ready to enjoy their reward. However, in the middle of their playtime a shocking event occurs that not only disrupts Chris’ world even more than it already has been, but also challenges everything that Lasar and Nary have always held dear. As Lasar searches for answers, he begins to question the reasons behind the Earth invasion and where his loyalties should really lie. As their Ahna, he must be the one who decides whether they will all be safer together, or apart.

Exclusive Excerpt from Slave for Two...

Morgan had managed to get him pretty worked up too, so it seemed like a good idea for them to take a break after all. While they lounged beneath the large evergreen, once in a while Morgan would mutter to himself and Chris was certain that he was invoking the anti-alien, mountain lion chant. Chris closed his eyes, the brightness of the noonday sun a drain on his vision, sapping his energy even more than the heat.
Hats and sunscreen.
He was so totally going to get him a piece of that at the tram gift shop. There wasn’t a doubt they’d have such a thing. He pictured the other items they needed that might be found at the tourist trap as the quiet rustle of the wind shuffled the dried grasses and tree branches around. It calmed his nerves. Little gnats or flies or something buzzed around his face and he kept swiping them away as he dozed. He started.
“Wha…?”
“I said, shouldn’t we get going?”
Chris blinked rapidly, pushing himself up on one elbow. “Yeah. Sorry. I didn’t get a lot of sleep last night.”
“Or any night, Chris. I hear you wandering around after everyone else has settled in. Even Mr. Avery would be snoring away, but you’d keep checking on us, making sure everything’s okay.”
“Oh, man. Sorry. I guess I wasn’t being very stealth.”
“Don’t apologize.” Morgan regarded him with a stern expression. “I feel bad that I can’t do more. How does all my endless fantasy reading help our situation now? It’s not like I have the cloak of invisibility rolled up in one of the packs.”
“Shit. That would be so awesome if you did.”
“Right?”
Chris stuck his head out from underneath the tree boughs, glancing around the area then up the trail toward the next rise. Everything seemed clear. He sucked in a deep breath. Only one way to find out for sure.
He crawled out from under their safe haven, scrambling to his feet then brushing off the dirt and other detritus from his already grimy clothing. Maybe they have sweatpants there too? He could wash out his jeans then let them dry on one of the big rocks. Sweet.
“Ready?” Chris observed as Morgan went through the same routine he had.
“Yeah. Let’s go.”
Neither one of them wanted to state the obvious. Even if he hadn’t seen anything, Chris was on edge, wondering if he’d bump into a big, beefy alien as soon as they reached the top of the trail. No doubt Morgan was even more on alert.

  1. Appreciate the post but, but I had to look up "sounding" on Urban Dictionary and don't think I'll be reading this one. I'm sure others will enjoy it as the premise sounds interesting, but not my cuppa.
