Shifter Quinn Adler knew he would live and die as a slave.
Quinn’s life was filled
with pain until he was rescued from an abusive pack. But in Lydon, Quinn can’t
be sure of anything, so he’s terrified of everything. With no one to give him
direction, he is lost—until Deke takes control of him.

This is book two in the
Lydon pack series and I do suggest you read in order or you just won’t
understand all that has happened and why Quinn is like he is.
Deke knew the moment he
walked in his new Alpha’s door that he scented his mate. The innocent broke
wolf cowering at the table refusing to eat was his and he would do what it
takes to save him. Even ticking of a big scary Alpha. After a talk with Garreth
and his assurances he only wanted what was best for Quinn and not a slave he
let him take him.
Quinn and Deke are settling in when Deke decides to show Quinn some of the worlds and they end up in Chicago not knowing they are right during a bad situation that Garreth is trying to fix. Klein finds out the Alpha Mate’s brother is in town and sends someone to collect him so they take Deke by mistake since he is in a wheelchair thinking he is weak. Deke plays along to keep Quinn safe hoping they will find him.
There are so many great characters
in this book. So many twists and turns and I loved seeing more Sean and
Garreth. I also loved seeing Quinn grow into himself and get over his
past. It is hard for me to pick so I'll
say these two are ties so read them both. I hope there is more coming soon in this
series!
Happily Ever After Comes
With A Price tag Parker Williams began to write as a teen, but never showed his
work to anyone. As he grew older, he drifted away from writing, but his love of
the written word moved him to reading. A chance encounter with an author changed
the course of his life as she encouraged him to never give up on a dream. With
the help of some amazing friends, he rediscovered the joy of writing, thanks to
a community of writers who have become his family. Parker firmly believes in
love, but is also of the opinion that anything worth having requires work and
sacrifice (plus a little hurt and angst, too). The course of love is never a
smooth one, and Happily Ever After always has a price tag.
