Cat's Review of Bad to Be Noble (Bad to Be Good Book 3) by Andrew Grey @AndrewGreyBooks @TTCBooksandmore @dreamspinners

For glass artist Ashton Weller, Longboat Key seems like the perfect place to start over. It’s warm, sunny, and far from the dangerous ex he left behind in Chicago, even if his glass studio does get even more uncomfortable in the Florida heat. It’s also home to Terrance Manetti, a man who turns into Ashton’s inadvertent hero when he saves him from some unsavory types at a local restaurant… and may turn into more than that.

Former mobster Terrance has been in Witness Protection with his "brothers" ever since they turned state’s evidence against their former employer. His brothers have a different life here, filled with family and small-time, honest jobs, and Terrance doesn’t know whether to be jealous or derisive.

Not until he meets Ashton, anyway. With Ashton, Terrance could build the kind of life he’s never dared to want—the kind of life where he won’t need the skills he learned in organized crime. Or so he thinks—until Ashton’s past comes looking for him….

This is a book three and you do need to read the series in order, and as I mentioned  in the previous books review, this series is a bit different than some of Andrew’s other books. The characters are a bit unsavory, or were in their past lives, now they are in WITSEC trying to stay out of trouble… which has a way of finding them, as does love.

This is Terrence’s story.  He is finding himself a bit left out as the other two now have lover’s and families though they all get together as a family once a week. On one of these nights Terrence finds a cute young guy being bullied by a gang and steps in. Though the cute guy has a fear of the big, strong types like Terrence.

The story is interesting and fun too. There is a touch of humor with the two little boys and the glass blowing that is Ashton’s business is very intriguing to learn about. There’s some mystery as both men’s past comes back to haunt them as well and of course the romance is amazing.
If you like ex-mobsters, starting a new life, tight friendships, cute kids, glass blowing, artsy types, a bit of heat and an all over great romance this is for you.
