Another year has come and gone. And with it I've added over 300 books to my library!
After much deliberation, I have decided to go with my top 5 for 2012. These are the 5 books that I would read over, and over, and over. Captivating, bittersweet and unforgettable they all are. Wether it be due to wonderous writing, indepth storylines or character development, these are the 5 books that are most rememberable for me from last year. I knocked my noggin while reading one of them, learning quickly that it's not quite so easy to walk and read your kindle at the same time! One of them got bounced off the wall due to content that made me jump up and scream, but it was still so damn good! There was a sexy, steamy one (oh so sexy and oh so steamy!)! One was a pleasant surprise, and one of them left me awestruck at the author's view of god and creation.
#5 Haunted Passions by Ranae Rose
Sexy twist to the Sleepy Hollow classic! (18+ adult content. M/M & M/F/M content).
I've quikly learned that anything Rose pens is bound to be good, but this is my personal favorite.
Grab book 1, Whiskey Dreams free!
#4 The Persecution of Mildred Dunlap by Paulette Mahurin
Never judge a book by it's cover. You might miss out on something good, in this case, something great!!!
#3 Tiger's Destiny by Colleen Houck
Two words... Ren and Kishan!
#2 Thoeba by Donna Milward
Grief and suffering invaded the tranquility of the heavens.
The Energy and it's creations learned to fight and defend.
And to bury their dead.
DRUM ROLL PLEASE................
#1 Taking Chances by Molly McAdams
Oh Goddamn, this book was Fantastic! I'm talking walking into walls because I refused to put down the kindle, fantastic.
Much love to all my Indie Authors that I have worked with this past year, I could stay here all night and write a phone book of names of Fantastic authors and even more Fantastic books! Here's to an even more successful 2013 for writers, reviewers and my sister bloggers.
So, would you like to have your very own copy of my #1 pick?? Leave a comment below and share with me one of your favorite books from 2012, I will pick one lucky winner for an ebook copy of Taking Chances by Molly McAdams (18+ only, it does have adult content).
Remember......... our fingerprints never fade off the lives we touch.

I'm so glad you enjoyed Haunted Passions, Tammy. While it's not as popular as many of my contemporary and shapeshifter books, it's personally one of my favorites among my own works. I feel privileged to be in your top 5 among 500. Thank you very much!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite books I read in 2012 are The Glass Guardian by Linda Gillard and Hot Head by Damon Suede. (Don't count me in the drawing for the book though - someone else can win that.)
I will add those to my TBR list Ranae, it is so long now I doubt I'll ever get to them all!
DeleteThank you so much for the honor of being featured in your top five! It's especially sweet when this book gets recognition because of its strong message of intolerance, in our day and age when hatred seems to be getting out of hand. I also thank you for the acclaim on behalf of all the wagging tails that make it to their forever homes because of this book. (all profits going to the first and only no-kill animal shelter, Santa Paula Animal Rescue Center, in Ventura County, CA). I'm very grateful. Paulette
ReplyDeleteIf no one else arrives to comment for the book, "Taking Chances" I'd love it. One of my favorite reads from 2012 was David LeRoy's The Siren Of Paris. :-) Paulette
ReplyDeleteYou just may Paulette! I'm going to run comments for a week then use random.org to snag a winner!
