The trouble that nearly ruined my life.
The trouble that turned me Dark.
The trouble that begs me for revenge.
Celia Door enters her freshman year of high school with giant boots, dark eyeliner, and a thirst for revenge against Sandy Firestone, the girl who did something unspeakable to Celia last year.
But then Celia meets Drake, the cool new kid from New York City who entrusts her with his deepest, darkest secret. When Celia’s quest for justice threatens her relationship with Drake, she’s forced to decide which is sweeter: revenge or friendship.
This debut novel from Karen Finneyfrock establishes her as a bright, bold, razor-sharp new voice for teens.

My review of The Sweet Revenge of Celia Door.....
Lets start with the title and the cover. As soon as I saw this book I was intrigued, so when I was asked to review it for a tour I jumped at the chance. And then to read the tease in Celia's own words....
That’s the day the trouble started. The trouble that nearly ruined my life. The trouble that turned me Dark. The trouble that begs me for revenge. Celia Door marches into school on the first day of her freshman year in her knee high combat boots and black hoodie and promptly places her handmade nameplate on her locker. Celia the Dark. She hides behind dark clothing and makeup as well as her poetry, trying to pretend the constant belittling from the "It" girls doesn't bother her. But she's consumed with that day, the day they hurt her, the day she can not and will not forget. But then Celia meets Drake and her plans begin to unravel. Handsome, athletic and smart; Drake befriends Celia immediately. He see's the person she is trying to hide. But Drake is hiding a secret of his own, something he shares in confidence with Celia. Soon she will have to decide which means more to her; her friendship with Drake, or getting her revenge.. to maintain one, she will loose the other. This book surprised the hell out of me! I didn't expect the reality of the subject matter to be conveyed so directly. Sweet Revenge delves into the emotional scars left in the aftermath of bullying and divorce. And yet there is hope in the form of friendship and the promise of a future that was initially bore from the heart of the pain. There were a couple of nice twists along the way. First when we learn Drakes secret and then toward the end when the pieces of this intricate puzzle Finneyfrock created begin to fall into place. I will definitely be recommending this book, in fact, I intend to pass my copy on to my own teenage daughter for her viewing pleasure. 5/5 just doesn't do this book justice!
