After a public sex scandal at her college, Tabby moves to a new city with a new school, convinced she can start over. But she soon realizes the changes are not enough. Tabby must take action to help her heal and move on from the past.
And though it sounds crazy, she believes a one-night stand is the best way to take back what’s hers. If she can choose where, when, and most importantly, who … maybe she can regain control.
First, she needs a willing participant.
She finds more than that when she meets Noah Adler.
Unfortunately, she can’t go through with it. And when she tries to forget about the plan—and the guy—it becomes impossible.
Noah quickly weaves his way into her new life and her heart. But as he comes dangerously close to discovering her secret, Tabby’s at risk of losing it all.

My review of Before you Go..........
Tabitha
Kelly, Tabby, has moved to a new town and started a new life after leaving her
previous one when she was betrayed by her friends and violated by her
boyfriend. She has a plan. She thinks if she can have a one night stand
controlling every aspect of it from start to finish, that she will be able to
forget about the past. But the past is not so easily forgotten, and old wounds
that run deep will take more than a casual sexual encounter to heal.
The best
laid plans of mice and men.. Noah Adler is Tabby’s unwitting participant, but
when he makes her actually feel from
the start, her plan falls apart and she can’t go through with it. Now her plan
is to forget about “the plan”, as well as Noah. Easier said than done since
everywhere she turns, there’s Noah.
He quickly
gets under her skin, bound and determined to break down the walls she’s so
carefully constructed around her heart. She fears what he would think if he
knew the truth, if he knew her secret. It turns out that Noah has a secret of
his own. Can this unlikely pair learn to trust each other, or will their dark
pasts tear them apart before they even have a chance to begin?
This is the
debut novel for Clare James and I look forward to many more books from her.
Fast paced and engaging, I was hooked from the first page! Flawed and relatable
characters gave this book a realistic edge that made it all the more enticing.
The ending was a little flat compared to the rest of the book, I would have
liked a little more meat in the epilogue. I definitely recommend this book and
look forward to what James brings us in the future.
I wanted to let you know that I nominated you for the Sunshine Award! Thanks for all that you do! http://romancebookworm.com/2013/04/20/sunshine-award-me/
