Miss Nika over at Oh My Shelves sits every week waiting for her name to come up next on that list at the library, for that new release she's waiting to read with bated breath!! I don't have a library or a library card so I buy, borrow or kindle my books. But that doesn't mean I don't anxiously await the arrival of impending new releases. So, I thought I'd share Nika's weekly 'Impatiently Waiting Thursday' and add my own little twist. I'm going to talk about books coming out soon that I am Impatiently waiting for!
* First up is a new release I found while trolling Goodreads that looks A-Mazing! Hidden, Avena book 1, by Marianne Curley.
For as long as Ebony can remember, she's been sheltered. Confined to her home in a secluded valley, home-schooled by her protective parents, and limited to a small circle of close friends. It's as if she's being hidden. But something is changing in Ebony. Something that can't be concealed. She's growing more beautiful by the day, she's freakishly strong, and then there's the fact that she's glowing.
On one fateful night, Ebony meets Jordan and she's intensely drawn to him. It's as if something explodes inside of her--something that can be seen from the heavens. Ebony still doesn't know that she's a stolen angel, but now that the heavens have found her, they want her back.

** Second.. Awaken, Abandon trilogy book 3, by Meg Cabot. I love this series, there is something so otherworldy sexy about Cabot's King of the Underworld, John Hayden.
From #1 New York Times bestselling author Meg Cabot, the dark reimagining of the Persephone myth comes to a thrilling conclusion.
Death has her in his clutches. She doesn’t want him to let go.
Seventeen-year-old Pierce Oliviera knew by accepting the love of John Hayden, she’d be forced to live forever in the one place she’s always dreaded most: the Underworld. The sacrifice seemed worth it, though, because it meant she could be with the boy she loves.
But now her happiness — and safety — are threatened, all because the Furies have discovered that John has broken one of their strictest rules: He revived a human soul.
If the balance between life and death isn’t fixed, both the Underworld and Pierce’s home back on earth will be wiped away. But there’s only one way to restore order. Someone has to die.

*** Third.. Micah's Refuge, Pack Mates book 2, by Lynn Tyler. I absolutely loved the first book in this series, Called to Mate. I had the pleasure of reading an ARC of Micah, and I tell you, it did NOT disappoint!
Micah’s Refuge ~ coming in June 2013 from Liquid Silver
Faced with the choice of hunting down and killing his human lover or being banished from his pack, werewolf Micah is forced to leave everything and everyone he loves. He finds a new pack in Northern Ontario that is willing to give him refuge. Determined to start over, Micah hopes to find a mate he can settle down with in Smooth Rock Falls.
Forensic chemist, Shea, rarely gets any down time, and that’s fine with him. As much as he loves his pack, he’s a bit of a loner with no wish for a mate. After all, his slight obsessive compulsive tendencies and a fear of having anyone count on him do not make him mate material. But when a new wolf joins the pack, Shea experiences emotions he’s never dealt with before, turning his whole tidy world upside down.
Micah is well aware Shea isn’t looking for a mate and doesn’t know if he should pursue the genius or if he should look for a mate elsewhere. But when tragedy strikes and passion ignites, can Shea just let Micah walk away?
Head over to Oh My Shelves and see what books Miss Nika is impatiently waiting for this week!
