Alex Corrigan has been pining over his boss, Judge Lawson Daniels, pretty much since he started working with him. He doesn't dare act on his feelings though, since he's the Judge's assistant. The two wind up in close quarters as they try to salvage the Holiday party when one thing after another goes wrong, setting them both on edge. Can they admit their mutual attraction? Or will the series of unfortunate events plaguing the party bleed over into their budding relationship as well.
I'm torn with this one. There were things I liked and things, not so much. The story didn't flow well, the waters were choppy. Also, the threat when revealed was a stretch, but then as said threat opened mouth and started speaking, it was ridiculous. I really liked the concept for the story, two men that have been watching each other for a while but due to circumstance, have not acted on it as of yet. The mystery had me intrigued as well until it was revealed. So, good concept, poor presentation.
