V.L. Locey loves worn jeans, belly laughs, yoga, reading and writing lusty tales, walking, Greek mythology, the New York Rangers, comic books, and coffee. (Not necessarily in that order.)
She shares her life with her husband, her daughter, one dog, two cats, two Jersey steers, and a flock of assorted domestic fowl.
When not writing lusty tales, she can be found enjoying her day with her menagerie in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania, fresh cup of java in hand.

Alright guys, that's it for this week. Be sure to head back over next week when we spotlight Clean Sweep, Venom series book 1 with Cat's review and Part III of the Author Q&A.
Q&A with VL Locey Part II
What advice would you give a new
writer just starting out?
Never let anyone tell you that you're
too old, young, tall, short, fat, skinny, poor, rich, black, white, gay or
straight to write.
Do you ever suffer from writer’s block? If so, what do
you do about it?
So far I've been very lucky. I rarely get blocked but
on the rare occasions that I do, I find that bouncing ideas around with other
authors generally helps.
What Author’s in the genre do you read?
I tend to read all kinds of books in many genres. In
the sports romance genre I love the books of Avon Gale, Samantha Wayland, Jean
Joachim and Aven Ellis just to name a few.

ReplyDeleteWow. What amazing covers! And what a great interview.
ReplyDeleteI wish I was lucky enough to avoid writer's block, but it always hits me hard :P I have to move on to another story or it won't ever go away. Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 attempts to find a story that can break it, but reading is always a good distraction, if that happens. Great to think that brainstorming with others might help.
