Can a pickup line from a stranger completely change the way an ordinary man sees himself?
Adrian wouldn’t have thought so, but after an ugly breakup where his self-esteem took a serious beating, he’s willing to try just about anything to repair the damage… even return to a secluded bar in rural Maryland and the intriguing stranger whose words have been on his mind since they met.
Biker, bouncer, bartender, and tattoo artist, Wyatt is a rolling stone. After fifteen years, he is tired of a life on the run, but he isn’t sure he knows how to do anything else or if he has anything besides a physical relationship to offer.
What’s supposed to be a one-off turns into another and another, and the relationship looks promising until the mob and the FBI come knocking on Adrian’s door.

Adrian is trying to make things better with his boyfriend of almost a year. He planned a romantic outing in the mountains, On the way home his car breaks down. He has to goo into a scary looking bar to try to get help since there is no reception. While waiting to talk to the Bartender one of the hottest men he has ever seen hits on him and calls him a sexy power bottom. After he gets home things go downhill with Martin but the stranger's words keep coming back. On a whim, he goes back to that bar even though it's a two-hour drive and sure enough the man is there and hits on him again. They have a one-night stand that turns into two then more.
Wyatt is on the run and has been for 15 years. His friend Furlough says its time to stop running especially since he likes this man he has been dating. Wyatt isn't sure he can do that, but every time he decides to leave he agrees to meet Adrian one more time.
I really liked this story. There are some funny parts some sad parts ( yes I cried when Wyatt called and canceled on Adrian that last time) and a twist that brings on some drama and action.
My only real issue was that Wyatt's problem he was dealing with was a bit understated. I never really understood what had him on the run and the deal about his home. I wish we had more of Wyatt's view so we could have a clearer picture of what he was dealing with.
The sex, now that was different. Adrian's first night with Wyatt was hilarious. That was a love scene worth remembering. I loved poor Adrian and his low self-esteem. Having said that, I enjoyed the story. The first sex scene with Adrian and Wyat was hilarious! If you like motorcycle men, sweet romance, accountants, humor, a touch of drama and some hot man-sex you should like this book.
Rowan McAllister quit her day job in 2007 and moved to her dream home in the woods of Virginia to follow her muses and explore her creative side full time. She's a firm believer in practical romanticism, requires a strong cup of coffee every morning to be even remotely human, and has a healthy obsession with romance and fantasy fiction, small (and not so small) furry creatures, and anything to do with working with her hands. She can be found most days either hunched over her sewing machine or hunched over her laptop. Though she has spent a lifetime making up stories in her head when whatever task she was occupied with failed to keep her full attention, she only recently discovered the challenge and reward to be found in committing those stories to paper. Now that she has, there's no going back.

I read this but wasn't as impressed. Good to see that it worked for you though (I skimmed the sex, but then again, I usually do that haha)

Interesting blurb. I'm not so sure about this one since I just finished another story that had the same plot line. I'll add to my wishlist as a possible read.
