Let's start the month with the Anthology Jo took part in that benefits the victims of the Orlando Pulse nightclub shooting. Dozens of stories written and submitted by LGBT Author's not looking to make a profit, but to help those whose lives were forever altered by a senseless act of violence. The cover art was donated as well so every penny of the proceeds from the sale of this anthology goes to the Orlando Pulse victims fund. That is reason enough to grab a copy!

Until we meet again on the other side of the rainbow.
We all woke up to the terrible news on Sunday 12th June, 2016, of the horrific attack in Orlando, and not only did it affect the LGBT community, it also outraged the world.
So many of us felt powerless as we watched the horror unfold upon our screens, but Patricia Strehle had a remarkable idea, one that would galvanize an entire community into action. Patricia brought a group of people together with the idea of creating a book, an anthology, and donating all the proceeds from its sale to the families affected by this terrible tragedy.
Over The Rainbow is the result—stories contributed by so many wonderful authors from all over the world. These stories are meant to inspire, to warm the heart, to bring a smile or a gentle laugh to help guide us all through the darkness, and to remind us that we all inhabit this world together, that we need to be kind, and that sometimes, we just need to follow that yellow brick road hand in hand.
All sales authors' and original publisher's proceeds from this Anthology will go to the following Charity:

Contributing Authors: A J Marcus, A McCarty, Adriana Kraft, Alexa Land, Andrew Jericho, April Kelley, Caitlin Ricci, Cameron Allie, Charlotte Anderson ,Chris Inman, Christine Jayne Vann, Grein Murray, Jo Bird, Jo Tannah, Kate Randel, Lee-Ann Wallace, Lisa Henry, Sean Kerr, Shay Bell, Shayne Evans, Susanna Hays, Sue Mac Nicol, Susan Reeves, Tensa Reign, Tianna Xander, Tina Blenke, Tina Mrazik, Tinnean, Tracy Bellamy, Violet Thorne

I am a wife, mother and blogger by day, a writer by night. It can be difficult to say the least but it is a challenge that keeps me on my toes.
I grew up listening to folk tales my father and nannies told either to entertain us children or to send home a message. These narratives I kept with me and finally I wrote them down in a journal way back when I kept one. Going through junk led to a long forgotten box and in it was the journal. Reading over the stories of romance, science fiction and horror I had taken time to put to paper, brought to light that these were tales I never met in my readings.
The tales I write are fictional but all of them are based on what I grew up with and still dream about. That they have an M/M twist is simply for my pleasure. And I hope, yours as well.

It was such a terrible thing to have happen on 12th June in Orlando, I couln't believe it myself. So it is such a wonderful idea for authors and publisher to get together and publish a book the Charity Pulse Victims.
