            Author Michael Jensen and podcasters Jeff Adams and Will Knauss have teamed up for the first ever Big Gay Fiction Giveaway, which will run from Nov. 20 to Nov. 27. More than seventy authors of gay male fiction are giving away full length novels, novellas, and short stories about the lives and loves of gay, bisexual and transgender men. Readers of every sort will find something of interest, ranging from historical fiction, literary fiction, new adult fiction, science fiction and fantasy, as well as traditional and paranormal romance. “We’ve got something for everyone,” says Adams. “And every single book is free.”           

            “The MM market is one of the fastest growing markets today,” said Jensen, “and the Big Gay Fiction Giveaway seemed like a way to take our genre to the next level by introducing readers to all sorts of writers they may not be familiar with, ranging from well-known authors such as Josh Lanyon, Jay Northcote, Laura Baumbach, and Neil Plakcy, to up-and-coming voices waiting to be discovered.”

            Jensen, the author of the upcoming novels Man & Beast (Nov. 29) and Man & Monster (Jan. 4), and Adams, author of Flipping For Him as well as the Hat Trick trilogy, and co-founder of Jeff & Will’s Big Gay Fiction Podcast, teamed up after Jensen approached Adams about ways to promote the giveaway. “When Jeff suggested the idea of our working together,” says Jensen, “I knew immediately what a fantastic way it was to make sure as many readers as possible learned about the event.” Adds Adams, “Combining Michael’s idea with the podcast allows us to create an event that will truly be unlike anything before.”

To claim a book, readers click on a book’s cover, enter their email to sign up for the author’s newsletter, then download their book via Instafreebie, and start reading. Using social media, Jensen and Adams—along with the participating authors—hope to expose tens of thousands of readers to the exciting titles available in the giveaway. Readers, book reviewers, and websites are being encouraged to tweet, Facebook, and use other forms of social media to share the news of what Jensen believes is the biggest giveaway of its kind for the MM market.
