After leaving University, Zach struggled to find employment. When he eventually found work in a call centre, he was ecstatic.
But from day one he had a problem.
After an accidental run-in with the manager, John, Zach was under no illusions that his days were numbered.
While dealing with is work issues, Zach is left devastated when his sister dies.
Now, struggling at work with a boss who may or may not like him, Zach is now raising his two young nephews alone.
One night a chance encounter with John changes everything. But is John willing to stand by Zach or will he walk away?
Cat gives this one 4 Meows with a 4 Purr heat index...
Zach has just completed a business degree and had hard luck finding a job. He finally lands one at a call center. His sister has just had a new baby boy and has a two-year-old as well. The job is very demanding, and his boss seems not to like him and is on the verge of harassment he picks on him so much. One day things get worse when he gets the call we all dread. His sister and her husband were both killed, and he is the only family member left to care for the boys.
Terrible Twos is a charming story set in England( it think) it has that charm and European spellings. You will need some tissue as there are some sad parts. The turning point is when John calls Zach at home to gripe him out, Oliver has just painted the living room in poo, and Zach has burned dinner. Zach finally gives John a piece of his mind. A bit later John shows up and helps him out.
Even though the story has the sad note of Zach losing his sister and brother in law and having to give up his life as a young bachelor to raise his nephews, there are the funny points that Oliver delivers. And a 2-year-old can really deliver!
I felt you had to drop your sense of believability and let this go as pure fiction. I doubt in real life a boss would call you at home and gripe you out or even as a new hire on probation if you would have gotten so many days off as Zach did, even though it was a dire necessity with the deaths.
Having said that...I loved the story, I loved all the Characters especially Oliver, there is a touch of a mystery/twist near the end, and the sex with John and Zach are smoking hot. That first bar scene left me weak in the knees not to mention the surprising first full on sex scene(fans self)
If you like workplace romance, a bit of a cry, cute kids, older man/ younger man and some smoking hot man-sex, this is definitely for you!

Sounds very emotional. I agree. Sometimes you have to go with the fiction acceptance part. I enjoy that.
