The Palisade is the first book in the lavender Shores series. There is supposed to be a book a month. If the next books are as good as this one I am all in. When I first started reading and saw it was a love at first sight kind story and lots of sex I had my doubts. They were quickly erased with all the quirky characters and beautiful scenery.

Andrew is having a birthday dinner with his family when he noticed a man at the bar eyeing Him. A night together quickly becomes more as the spend the next few days together.

Joel is on town on business. He was also hoping for a one night hookup and the guy in the bar was right up his alley.

Lavender Shores has strict rules and guidelines in their town and Joel didn't read all the fine print. Setting up a coffee shop in town especially a chain would be much harder than he anticipated. He also has a secret that could ruin everything he and Andrew have.

I fell in love with Andrew
right off the bat and his father was so funny. I even liked Joel. I am a sucker for a good romance and this one was perfect. If you like beautiful scenery, sexy businessmen, hot real-estate agents, love at almost first sight and some very hot man-sex you will love this.

Rosalind Abel grew up tending chickens along side her sweet and faithful Chow, Lord Elgin. While her fantasy of writing novels was born during her teen years, she never would have dreamed she’d one day publish steamy romances about gorgeous men. However, sometimes life turns out better than planned.

In between crafting scorching sex scenes and helping her men find their soul mate, Rosalind enjoys cooking, collecting toys, and making the best damn scrapbooks in the world (this claim hasn’t been proven, but she’s willing to put good money on it).
