Everything's bigger in Texas, including weddings. And misunderstandings.
Colorado wedding planner Mason O'Reilly lands a major contract: a 200-guest wedding at the Leanin' N Ranch, where his friends Ford and Stoney are working to provide a safe space for LGBT events. The Wright/Preston ceremony is a destination wedding, and as the grooms are from Texas, everything is done over the phone and email. There's no way that could lead to trouble, right?
Oops.
Oil tycoon Noah Wright isn't happy about the impending disaster, but he admires Mason's quick thinking and grace under pressure. And that's not all he likes about the out-and-proud wedding planner. Even though Mason's interested in Noah, his Mr. Right can't possibly be a rancher from Dallas.
Can he?

"Fun but a bit flat for me"
I'm going to start by saying B.A. Tortuga is one of my on click authors.I love her writing style and characters. This book fell a bit flat for me. I will admit I wish I had read the book instead of listening to the audio. The narration pulled me out of the story so much. Robbie Nelson did try to give each character a voice. That is something I normally like. I think e took it to too much extreme and had a female voice and two male voices and gave hem to each character so I had to figure out who was talking losing part of what was going on. and he threw me off with the thoughts as well.
I loved the first book in this series and was looking forward to more. I was happy to get more Stoney and Ford though I wish we had actually more of them. I have to admit my favorite character was Geoff. He is hilarious and I just want more and more of him.
Mason a hard-working wedding planner and Noah a Billionaire Oil Tycoon are the main characters. I liked them.
The first part of the book was great, I loved the wedding planning, all the things that went wrong and Mason ad to fix, and the humor in it. The last of the story went slow with Mason and Noah being so far apart. All in all, I think the story was good and I would have liked it much more if I read the book instead of the audio.
If you like working men and Billionaires, ranchers, weddings, and a very sweet romance story you will like this one!

Texan to the bone and an unrepentant Daddy's Girl, BA spends her days with her basset hounds, getting tattooed, texting her sisters, and eating Mexican food. When she's not doing that, she's writing. She spends her days off watching rodeo, knitting and surfing Pinterest in the name of research. BA's personal saviors include her wife, Julia, her best friend, Sean, and coffee. Lots of good coffee. Y'all know that song, The Happiest Girl in the Whole USA? That's me, down to the bone.
Having written everything from fist-fighting rednecks to hard-core cowboys to werewolves, BA does her damnedest to tell the stories of her heart, which was raised in Northeast Texas, but has heard the call of the high desert and now lives the good life in the Sandias. With books ranging from hard-hitting GLBT romance, to fiery menages, to the most traditional of love stories, BA refuses to be pigeon-holed by anyone but the voices in her head.
Thanks for the good review, Cat. I have to admit that the blurb drew me in - I like B.A., and I'm from Dallas (tho not a rich rancher) - so sorry to hear about the audio. - Purple Reader,
